Wasn't sure if I was going to like a movie where Matt Damon carries 90% of it but it was great and I can't wait to read the book (sorry the but the books are 9 times out of 10 better than the movies).

Yeah, I noticed the Godfather reissues and loved the cover design. I bought The Martian on 4k to expand my 4k collection. Best buy always delivers with products and services. No complaints

Bought this to try out my new Samsung 4k DVD player. The colors and detail are amazing. Love the extended edition movie. If you liked this movie in the theatre you will really enjoy all the extras.

This is a really good movie that surprised me. I bought it for the 3D space scenes, but this movie is really worth it without the amazing visuals and has added a lot the more viewings I have had with it.

I am a big space movie fan, but was not sure how this one would be. well, I can say that I really like this movie. Not going to spoil any of it, WATCH IT !!!

After Castaway this is another great story about conquering solitude, only set in a different setting. Especially on a big screen like we have, 140", and surround sound it makes it a really great experience!

This movie is scientifically accurate. It has an amazing story. Amazing special effects. Amazing acting from Damon of course and an amazing supporting cast. This movie is something everyone should watch once.

Matt Damon gives another brilliant performance from one of the greatest directors of our generation, Ridley Scott. The blending of cast on Mars, in space and at NASA is done seemlessly. Awesome movie

This may be the best movie that I've seen all year! Damon was great, the technology depicted seemed very real and the scenes on Mars also seemed very realistic. Tense moments and thrills abound!

Enjoyed this film very much. It was so accurate except for the storm which wouldn't lift such large objects. But everything else was totally possible! Matt was great for the part of the stranded astronaut!

Another hit by one of my favorite actors, Matt Damon. I will re-watch this movie multiple times and I doubt I will get tired of it. The blu-ray transfer is great and the audio quality is perfect.

Great movie and it was a great deal so i'm glad I received a movie at a great price. This was a special version of the movie so there are new things you didn't see in theaters.

No aliens. No overly spectacular visual effects. Just an all-around excellent movie with an excellent story line that will touch all of your emotions, Top notch actors and actresses.

I purschased martian to test out my 3D experinec on my LG tv and 3D sony blue ray player. The movie is very solid but th effects in 3D from my own living room are great. Thumbs up big time across the board.

I questioned is a 4K movie is any better than a Blu-ray, but there is definitely a difference, even on a non-HDR TV. The quality is amazing and the movie itself is great, a must watch!

Although there are minor deviations from the book (read it twice before watching) for Hollywood purposes, it is an excellent film. Highly recommended. Humor mixed with drama and action make this a must see.

This is an outstanding movie. I read the book first and was pleasantly surprised by how close it was to the book. There are some scenes they had to cut for pacing reasons obviously. Matt Damon is excellent.

I love this movie. It is exciting and the acting was great. I wasn't too excited about his movie when I first saw the oreview, but I had some friends recommend it and now it is one of my favorites.

Ridley Scott brings the novel to life along with great acting. Especially from Matt Damon who earned an Oscar Nomination for his portrayal of an astronaut accidentally left on Mars.

the film is wonderful, the book its based off is great as well. this is a wonderful 4k version of a great movie
