My wife and I really enjoyed this movie. great story and Matt Damon did good job and since getting my first home theater and 4k this was a great addition. Too bad it doesn't have dolby atmos.

This is an awesome movie and the bluray does it justice. Great sound and video. I think there is a small amount of footage added to the other version, but I'm happy with the theatrical cut.

Although this movie was lauded as a comedy, it really had me on the edge of my seat with every twist and turn in the tale. Damon was great, but the real science behind everything was even more awesome.

A movie I know I will watch many times. It was well made and kept my interest every second. It was unpredictable, humorous as well as a drama, and very believable. I highly recommend the movie.

Best Buy offers sales on 4K movies all the time. I can't complain when you get a 4K movie for less than $10.

Wasn't sure if I would really like this movie from the little bit I saw on commercials. Reviews I saw were good, so we thought we would try it. I ended up loving the movie and will watch it many times.

So originally, I didn't even want to SEE this movie. I now know why everybody was talking about it, and I SINCERELY doubt that they saw what I saw in beautiful fantastic 4K!! Felt like I was ON Mars!!

Saw it in the theater and had to have my own copy. It's definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it. It came with a digital copy, too, so I can even enjoy it on-the-go. Two thumbs up from this guy.

Purchased this as a gift for someone that loves Sci-Fi movies. What was nice is that it came with a digital copy for iTunes to add to the library. Worth the purchase because the movie is so great!

It was well laid out, the survival tactics used mixed with a little comedy. The efforts to rescue him was well done and mixing in the Chinese Space program was a good ideal. Movie is well worth seeing.

The Martian is a story about an astronaut who is inadvertently left for dead on Mars as the rest of his crew escape a catastrophic storm, and how he must use his scientific know-how to survive for a year until a crew can make it back to rescue him. Good, solid movie with a good cast, and quite beautiful to look at in 4K.

Bought this movie for my husband's birthday and we watched it 3 times in the 1st week he had it. Matt Damon had some funny scenes and dialog no wonder he was nominated as best actor in a comedy.

I bought this movie from my local bestbuy and it's a excellent movie it's have a good plot and the picture quality for this 4k bluray is pretty good also the HDR make this movie awesome

I really enjoyed this movie. It has a goodles mix of drama/comedy. Matt Damon was the perfect choice for this role. I don't think it would be as good if his character had been acted by someone else.

While it may not be considered an instant classic, The Martian is quite simply a great film. It's like Castaway meets Apollo 13, except with Matt Damon instead of Tom Hanks. Highly recommended.

This movie would keep anyone who loves drama or science fiction on the edge of their seats for the entire movie! Our entire family watched it together and all were spell-bound through the whole movie.

This was good a movie and if you get this on blu ray the Mar's scenes look clear, especially on my 4k tv. The story and acting are what will keep you watching. The blu ray presentation looks awesome.

It's disappointing that there are so few titles available in hdr - but this is one of the better ones out there. A thrill to watch in my home theater and the bonus scenes add to the story

This movie is suspense-filled from beginning to end. A lot of unexpected twists and turns keep your attention throughout. Matt Damon did a terrific job! I would definitely recommend seeing this movie!

Ridley Scott maybe hands down the best director alive today. The Martian really was the best movie of 2015 and I did not want it to end. Matt Damon is fantastic in this. Great science fiction!
