great movie interesting matt damon great acting recommend finally added it to our collection

If you have seen"The Martian"; I encourage you to see the extended version. More humour, a little more realism, and you will see how some scenes unfold; making more sense in the plot.

it's like Cast Away on Mars. Matt Damon is outstanding as a stranded astronaut using his brains to stay alive and make it home. The ensemble cast make this a truly entertaining must watch!

I was told I should buy this movie because several people told me how good it was. I haven't had time to watch it yet, but feel quite sure I'll be glad to have it in my collection of good movies.

Excellent movie with Matt Damon. There was some great humor in this which helped, given his character's situation. It was also inspiring to see how he handled himself and his new reality.

This money was better than i expected providing engaging yet fun characters and a narrative that honestly connects to the real world, on the side it also had exceptional science messages.

I liked this movie because it made you think what would someone really do if they got stranded on some barron planet alone. I would like to think I could make it just like he did but I do wonder.

Despite the harrowing adventure of being marooned on an uninhabitable planet there is a lot of humor in this movie. Matt Damon did a GREAT job and deserved an Oscar nod for his performance (IMO).

A very well made Ridley Scott movie with moments of suspense as well as humor. My wife and I enjoyed this film very much. Recommended for purchase. Get the blu-ray. It looks gorgeous on a UHD TV.

I did not think I would like this movie...I mean, how boring, one guy doing a whole movie. But it wasn't like that at all. It was interesting and kept my attention very easily. A very good movie.

I loved this movie in the theaters. I bought it the day it came out on blu-ray. Some time later, I saw it on 4k, so I bought it again. One can never have too many copies of sci-fi movies.

This is a good movie. Matt is funny and his performance is great. The cinematography made me feel like I was there. I was cheering for Matt every step of the way from start to finish. Must warch.

The Movie is great and Matt Damon was the perfect actor for this movie. The book is better because it is more detail, but it would have taken three movies to follow the book.

I first this movie and was like might be pretty good. But as I was watching, I was amazed. This movie makes science looks cool. I made sure to buy this as soon as it came to DVD. Excellent movie.

First I thought this was going to be another of those boring movies in space. After it won the Golden Globes I got curious. Boy, I was wrong, this movie is excellent. Great acting by Matt Damon.
