Rarely does a film properly do it's source material justice. This one does and proves (once again) that Ridley Scott is one of the best directors to ever sit behind the camera.

Did not get to see this in the theater,so I bought this for my 3D TV at home .Had friends who saw it and said it was on of the best movies they have seen.Some even went to see it twice.

My entire family enjoyed this movie. Great cinamatography and special effects, suspense, and a feel good ending in the tradition of the movies we loved growing up. Bring on the popcorn!

I missed seeing this in the theater, and read the book. I was looking forward to seeing it in Bluray 3D and was not disappointed. The special effects were outstanding as was the acting.

This was a great film with a great cast. Matt Damon really steals the show, which is impressive as he was on screen by himself for the majority of the film. Must see

OK eating potatoes grown in even your own poo is pretty gross, but I can think of a lot worse things to eat. Movie is riveting. I was on the edge of my seat. I love Matt Damon.

He extended cut of the Martian is a more complete story. The additional footage adds more to the characters and delivers even more of the humor that's makes the Martian a fun watch

I loved this movie. The action gets started early and keeps moving. This is one of those movies that really puts you in the situation you're watching. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the original Martian but wanted the extended version. Overall, it adds about 20 minutes and provides some greater background.

This is one of Matt Damon's better movies, and it's very true to the novel. If you've read the book, you won't be disappointed with this movie, which is more than I can say for a lot of adaptations. The pace of this movie is very good, and the ending is satisfying. Pick up a copy--you won't be sorry!

I loved the book but was afraid that the movie would spoil the story. Not true! This is a great adaptation and stayed true to the story as much as time would permit. A must see movie.

This is one of my favorite movies. The digital copy allowed me to upload it to VUDU and im able to watch it anyone from all my devices.

If you are interested in science and space, it would be a good choice. One of the best films in 2016. It is not as good as Interstellar but still a good piece for your archive..

A great movie classic plot of man against nature albeit Martian nature. demonstrates the indomidable human spirit and will and the ability to over come what would seem impossible odds.

Seen it on the big screen some time ago, one that i wanted a copy which i rate on the level of gravity.

I have not read the book yet, but I have seen the movie 4 times now. I love this movie. I love the job that Matt Damon did and I love that the writers and producers did their research.
