I think the mask is hilarious! Jim Carey exceeds in his lunacy to the point of brilliance.. This is why Jim was a huge star in the 90's with his off the wall antics that will have you in stitches. Video - A single-layer 1080p VC-1 1.85:1 transfer Looks amazingly clean with minimal grain or artifacts. Colors jump off the screen and image detail is crisp with no hint of filtering. Blacks are deep and rich and flesh-tones are dead on! Audio - New Line has included a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack that is top notch! This is darn near reference quality material here, with equalization and channel mixing at near perfection levels, surrounds get a good workout with some nice discrete effects in the rears. All in all a very nice mix with punch! Extra's - Include Audio commentary with Director Chuck Russell - Return to Edge City (The Mask project documentary) - Introducing Cameron Diaz - Cartoon Logic (origins of The Masks gags) - What Makes Fido Run (training the Masked Dog) - Additional scenes with commentary with Chuck Russell Conclusion - This is a really great comedy and this Blu-ray does it complete justice! I highly recommend it.

You like that headline? I just blew your mind, probably. Jim Carrey starred in 3 movies in 1994: The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Only one of them starred a crazy hot Cameron Diaz. This remains one of the best comic book films, even 22 years later. Give it a watch.

to the guy on the bottom vc1 was created by non other than HDDVD or toshiba or watever i think that was still around it would have been for that formati still have hddvds and i also have blurays! but i have to admit hd dvd was alot more funner and had more features!n i am a big fan of the mask so ill probably end up buying this soon

I love Jim Carrey and this is one of my favorite movies of all time. I just love all of the comedic, classic Carrey moments and it also show cases a young Cameron Diaz. A must have comedy, if you want to laugh out loud!

This is a great "super hero"/comedy movie. With Jim Carry portraying Stanly Ipkiss, this is truly a funny movie that will leave you wondering and laughing to the very end.

A huge box office success, ‘The Mask’ was one Jim Carrey movie I found to be just average in terms of entertainment value. For some reason, it seemed to me that the cartoonish animatics actually hindered rather than helped, his performance. But fans will still enjoy this New Line dvd that has plenty of bonus extras.
