I loved this movie when it first released and had planned on grabbing the Scorch Trials steelbook so this was a must as well! Not disappointed at all. The movie itself is extremely entertaining for being a YA book adaptation. Even if you're a little fatigued from films like Divergent, Hunger Games and such you should give this one a chance.

I had not read the book first but enjoyed the film and found it compelling. The story is one of a group of kids that find themselves taken and left at a maze. The story revolves around a new addition to the group and his unwillingness to leave things the way they are. He attempts to find a way out. This is the first in a series and was worth a watch.

Man, I absolutely LOVE this film! Being newly introduced to the addictive world of steelbook collecting, I just had to buy this...as it is one of my favorite movies in one of my favorite collectible case formats. Like awesome, action thrillers? Love beautiful, simple and elegant steelbooks? Look no further and BUY IT!

A bunch of young men trapped in a Maze try to find their way out. it's better than it sounds. there are creepy bug/robot monsters that hunt the boys in the maze and a power struggle over the pecking order in the boys hierarchy. There is a pretty good twist at the end and it set the second movie up fantastically (which comes out later this year).

A movie about a bunch of kids trapped in a giant maze with no way out and mysterious creatures hunting them? What's not to love about the plot. I saw this movie knowing nothing about the book series and i love it. Was not expecting the ending but it was a very well done movie. The blu ray is great and has good special features. Recommended!

While the premise and the trailer may sound and look a little like The Hunger Games, it adds some mystery by putting in a giant labyrinth that is always changing. Add a bunch of teenagers that try to figure out the maze all while they try and make sense of why they are there and have somewhat of a working society. Made for 13 and older...

Story line is interesting. Jury is still out on the series...

Like many other book to movie renditions, the book is better; but the movie was well done. The special effects sequences were put together seamlessly and the action was great. The acting wasn't horrible, they made good choices in casting the characters. Overall a good movie, if for no other reason than it makes for good fantasy.

I saw this in the theater and thought maybe I liked it because I was so disappointed in The Giver and Divergent. But after buying it on BluRay, I can say that it's a solid action/sci-fi film. Reminiscent of a Lord of the Flies type of sci fi theme, it keeps your attention throughout. I'm actually looking forward to the sequel.

I never read the books, so I went into the movie not knowing the outcome. It definitely kept me on the edge of my sweet and I loved the twists and turns. It reminded me of survivor mixed in with a Post-Apocalyptic world. The characters are "stranded", but learn to build a community and work together.

Cool movie to watch with wife or girlfriend. Their is only one way out and that’s Thur the mazes. Not Easy to do when they are creatures lurking in the maze. But eventually him and a few other ones decided to take a chance and go through the maze So they can regain their freedom.

Good movie - kept me interested. Didn't try to pick out the minor flaws while watching this film. Nice that they realize some people had to die during the two hours of action. Great twist at the end made me want to see the sequel. Would recommend buying at the price of a movie ticket.

When Thomas wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape.

We were surprised at what a good movie this is. The previews led us to believe it was going to be a lot more violent and bloody than it was. The best part was the ending when 'all was revealed.' We are hoping there is a second movie. We now know what is going on, but would like to see the next chaper in this saga.

Pretty suspenseful at times and it keeps you wondering till the very end and then some. At times it kinda has a "Hunger Games" feel to it but I'm starting to like that type of movie more and more so I'm okay with it. Can't wait till the sequel comes out so we get to see where they're going with the franchise.

I really enjoyed this movie - it was much better than I had expected. Though it's part one of a trilogy, it can stand on its own. They do include some stuff at the end to lead it into the next movie, which is a good movie, too, although I think I liked this one better. There are some good extras as well.

My wife is a fan of these & she got me watching also.... & I must say I rather enjoy the Maze Runner movie. It's not super fast paced but fast paced none the less. Definitely not slow & holds you're interest. If you haven't seen it I'd highly recommended giving it a go!

I didn't see it in theaters because the premise seemed dull. Then I watched it while travelling by renting it out of boredom and was surprised how good it really is. So now I have bought the first two movies and gotten my wife in to the series. We can't wait for the rest of them to come out now!

The Maze Runner is based off the book by the same name. It's a good movie, it has characters you like, characters you dislike, in a very interesting and mysterious story, definitely would recommend watching this, plus it makes you interested in seeing the sequel films

This is an excellent watch. It takes a long time to even figure out what is going on, which makes it especially good to me. Most movies you watch nowadays are predictable, so it's good to be kept in the dark. The blu-ray has a 3D short on it for fans of 3D.
