Jason Stratham is at it again except this time he is the mechanic instead of a transporter. I like his unique action movies.

Great movie packed with a lot of action , I am not disapointed with this purchase one more for my collection.

Great movie, good reboot to Bronson movie. Bought mainly for Blu-ray and disc to digital options on vudu.

The dynamics of the kill scenes were great. After watching this movie I had to get the sequel.

Whether you are a Jason Stratham fan or just an action junkie, this is a fantastic movie. For a hit man to stay alive obviously he must use his wits and know what he's doing and Stratham plays this one all out. Stratham plays this hit man as you expect one to be: brooding and secretive yet totally aware of everything that goes on around him. Past movies like Death Race showed the same drive, but this one is his best ever. Good writing, and even good acting make this one great from beginning to end. At just over 90 minutes, I wanted it to go on....

I bought this movie because I have enjoyed watching Jason Statham in other action movies, but I was a little dissapointed in this one. Maybe it was because I enjoyed the 1972 version with Charles Bronson or maybe it was because the plot was a little thin, not sure... Either way the movie was good but not great as long as your expectations for a detailed plot line are not too ambitious.

Sony brings The Mechanic to Blu-ray with superb video and audio quality - a Sony standard. As for the movie, it's a good drama/action flick but could have been better. It's entertaining nevertheless. Recommended, especially if you have a good tv with a surround sound system to take advantage of the Blu-ray quality.

I am a huge Charles Bronson fan and love the original Mechanic directed by Michael Winner, but this remake is superior in several ways. Ben Foster as the protégé, Donald Sutherland as the mentor and father and Jason Statham as the Mechanic. Now they did change the ending and that was a bit of a cheat but overall a superior film to the original in almost all aspects.

If your a Statham fan such as myself, you'll like movie. I can never pass up a movie of his. Thought about buying this one for a while and finally pulled the trigger as it was free with the purchase of another $10 movie. Worth a buy if you find it for a low price.

This is another great movie that i would probably compare most to the Transporter series. It has Statham doing what he does best. I don't think you would be disappointed to pick this one up and check it out. You can't go wrong with him being a contract killer.

Remakes are hit or miss. But this one is quite good. Got Jason Statham. Check. Got explosions. Check. Got headshots. Check. Got car chase scene. Check. What more can you ask for in an action flick. Even a decent stoyr.

it updates the character of Arthur Bishop to our time period. Jason Statham does a good job in being the assassin with a soul. Best of all, he lives at the end, unlike the original, and I look forward to the sequel.

Jason Statham is one of my favorite action actors and I just loved this movie. I already have the sequel but just wanted to see how it all began and I can say that I wasn't disappointed. Great movie!

The Mechanic provides thorough entertainment in its plot device and chosen actors. You are immersed in a world of hidden agendas and strategic foresight as to who the true enemy may be.

Great addition to any video library, especially if you like action flicks. Jason Stathan seems to always play a normal, nice guy, who just happens to bash heads for a living.

Great film. Jason Statham does a great job in this film. A better than average film - if you like Jason Statham, definitely pick up a copy. Good supporting cast, good pacing, great ending.
