Not even gong to compare to Jaws, but fun, great special effects, has some descent features. It has some humor and gore, but light on that. Enjoyed!

The Meg is a good movie. I like the concept of bringing the megalodon to life and the overall plot of the movie. I am a huge Jason Statham fan and this movie did not disappoint. I hope they make a sequel.

This was a fun film. The special effects are amazing. It does not have the drama and acting chops as Jaws did before it, but it is a fun action film nonetheless.

Cheesy movie but I think that was the point. I'd buy virtually anything except a Lifetime movie on 4k at this point. Helpful and friendly staff.

I'm an 80's baby, so I saw ALL the Jaws movies and this is like a cracked out Jaws reboot. Plenty of thrills and chills. Just when you think its over.. its not! Great graphics, story line and scenery.

The writing could have been better but this shark does looks better than the one in Jaws. Don't have high expectations and you won't be disappointed.

The trailer was well done. The movie did not live up to expectations. The acting and humor was off. Could have been better as the concept was interesting.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this movie. Was a pretty good adventure and story. Go into it for the entertainment value. My boys liked it.

I love Jaws and this is just an updated revival of someone elses jaws interpretation. Adding this to the shark movie binge weekend marathon list.

Those looking for “Jaws”, look elsewhere. Stick with the one and only. If you aren’t too picky this is a decent popcorn flick. Or try “The shallows”.

It's a fun monster movie with gigantic shark action. Jason Statham is great. And the 4K version is excellent in terms of technical quality. Get it!

My fiance bought this movie - this is his opinion: This movie is ok. It's not great, it's not awful. I don't know that I would pay $30 for it again.

I missed the movie in theaters but I love shark movies and dinosaur movies so I knew this was a must. It is a fantastic movie and even better because it is 3D. I highly recommend this film.

It's not an awesome blockbuster movie, but it also isn't horrible. I enjoyed it, I knew it would be cheesy, but it was worth getting from me.

I have watch all the the shark movies since the original Jaws hit the screen years ago. This shark would have eaten the first shark for lunch [smile].

We saw this in the theater first. Good fun, sharks are well done. We are Jason Statham fans which helped. No academy awards here, but entertaining.

I really really really like sharks. So when I saw there was a movie with a MEGLADON, I was like oh yea baby! If you like sharks, you’ll like THE MEG.

This movie is as cheesy as it sounds, but that doesn’t stop it for being filled of laughs and surprises. Got this on Black Friday on a discount but would still have gotten this at full price.

If you love shark films this is a must. What saves this movie is the great acting from the main character and Rainn Wilson is always a plus.
