Was good to the last could not have seen what happened

Jane's whitty sense of humor is very entertaining.

The finale was good. If your a collector of dvd's I would recommend this set.

i was happy to see that Best Buy had such a good deal on a 'new' release.

This series should have ended 3 or 4 seasons ago. When a series is based on one suspect instead of individual episodes ending, the plot becomes drawn out, unrealistic and boring, hence reddone.

This show has been in my top 10 season after season. Even though the last season maybe might not been in top form compared to the prior seasons it did a good job of closing out the series.

Mentalist started well but the red john idea overwhelmed and was silly so the end was necessary.

Not the best season but this is really the last one

While Warner tried to test the waters with a Season 1 Blu-ray, it was too late. Even I, a Blu-ray enthusiast, wouldn't buy a Blu-ray after buying many seasons on DVD. They should have stuck to Blu-ray releases from the start. But that's not what this review is about. The Mentalist's final season was fine. I was a little underwhelmed by the finale and the way they apprehended the villain, but in hindsight it was more about the relationship of Jane vs. Lisbon. The quality is fine, like previous seasons. Anamorphic widescreen is fine although with hi-def broadcasts, I'm still wishing for Blu-ray releases on TV titles. 5.1 surround sound is adequate for a TV show. Extras are fine as well. Even though I didn't go into detail about extras and A/V quality, the main reason you'll get this is to complete your collection of this fine TV show.

All in all it was a good way to end this series there was no crazy twist ending and the show ends on a happy peaceful note.

Great show, great story lines. The shows are gripping and very funny

While I'm sad to see the series go, this was a good conclusion.

Right up there with Monk as one of my favorite shows.
