This 1968 spaghetti western stars Franco Nero, known for his Django roles, who as another character in this role, finds himself involved in the Mexican revolution for money, as he helps his friend and his revolutionary compadres who are trying to overthrow the Mexican government. Jack Palance also has a role as a bad guy rival to our anti-hero. The music is by Ennio Morricone from the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. The plotand acting are a bit corny, but the hero has a machine gun. What more could you want?

Average spaghetti western made in the same mode as ”Companeros”
Franco Nero made his career playing such roles as the title character
Joins forces with Mexican rebel Musante (another spaghetti vet) in a robbery scheme with Jack Palance and entire Mexican army in tow.
Fairly familiar ground made better with ace direction by Corbucci.

It’s such a thrill to watch this…and it delivers one of Franco Nero’s best characters and performances.
