I remember watching the Midnight Special back in the 70's and 80's and this set gives a nice taste of those shows. I'd recommend this to anyone who remembers this show or is a fan of the old performers and wants to see them in their prime. The sound and video quality are good considering the age of these shows. My only complaint would be that the shows are not in their entirety. All in all, it's a great trip down memory lane.

I would look forward to coming home, on Friday nights, after a night out with friends, to watch this show. If you were a act and you got on this show, you were in the big time. This set has a lot of great performances on it. It's great to see these again. I wish there more sets of this. All class acts in their time. Get it and enjoy it.

This is a cheaper alternative to the full DVD set of Midnight Special episodes. Overall, I like the bands that were included in this collection. It's an eclectic mix of artists from singer/songwriter to hard rock to soul. Nice collection for someone that doesn't want to spend the money to purchase the complete set.

With this Set you can let the Midnight Special Shine it's ever loving light down on you all over again. and at any other time you want. IT allows you to reminisce about the bands and that time in America's history and music history . It is a great set to have if you remember and love this music.

It's been lots of fun going down memory lane with episodes of the Midnight Special. The music, the fashions, the hair -- all of it brings back old times. The quality of the DVD set is good especially when you consider how the program was originally produced. If you made it through the 70's you'll love this set!

Seeing all my favorite performers of the 60's and 70's was a time trip. Great memories of a simpler world and happy times of my youth. anyone who wants to hear a treasure chest of music from that rock rich era, this is for them. Then there's the iconic Wolfman Jack, Terrific

For those of us that had nothing better to do late on Friday night in the early 70's this DVD set is well worth it. It brings back fond memories of a time when we were young with fewer responsibilities and music with a clear message. Enjoy!!!

There is a lot on these 6 DVDs, but there is bound to be something missing that you hoped to see. Still recommended

There are so many great performances of artists from the 60's and 70's. This was before the era of autotune and the normalization of lip-syncing, so you can watch and listen to true artistry in all it's historic goodness!

Brought back memories from when I was a kid staying up late just to watch the Midnight Special. The quality of the DVD, is actually better then the original showing.

I used to follow the Midnight Special on tv back in the day. This cd collection brought back those memories, and it turned out to be an excellent find. I'm enjoying every moment.

I have sat for hours watching these and they all bring back memories. It's great seeing the faces of the people in these bands that I loved long ago. Definitely worth buying!

Having stayed up to watch the Midnight Special many Friday nights in my teens -- before MTV and the web rock/pop live music performances were a rarity -- I was excited to find this on the rack. Unfortunately, the set list is extremely limited -- there is so much more not here. Not worth the money.

I enjoyed the DVD set. I only wish there were more acts.

Lots of memories of all the great shows from the archive. MS was a terrific and groundbreaking show!
