I've heard about Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe's last film for quite a long time. It has always been fairly pricey and hard to find in stores. Finding it in the bargain bin at Best buy I couldn't refuse. This is an oddly dark comedic film that has a lot to say and in hindsight reflects Marilyn Monroe's life. That is if you are looking for art imitating life. All great performances here. Marilyn, Clark & Montgomery should have been proud of what they've done here. Beautiful Blu-ray with decent extras. Recommend.

The final film of two legends looks amazing on Blu-ray. MGM is certainly capable of great releases, but they often “fix” the picture and botch a release. In this case, picture and sound get the night marks. Sadly, there’s nothing in the extras department except a trailer. This is a missed opportunity as they could have included retrospective of the film’s three leads, a making of or behind the scenes photos, or even something about Arthur Miller. I still recommend picking this up.

A divorcée (Roslyn Taber/Marilyn Monroe) falls for an over-the-hill cowboy (Gay Langland/Clark Gable) who is struggling to maintain his romantically independent lifestyle. The Misfits is a story about people for whom the world spins just a little too quickly, and as a result feel constantly off kilter and unable to find their footing. This was the last film of its stars Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe and is easily Monroe's finest work in a serious role. Don't miss it.

Despite the fact that Marilyn Monroe doesn't really thrill me (don't really know why, but she just never did), I enjoyed this wonderful old classic. Made when only a few movies still used Black & White, and might have seemed better in color, especially for Monroe fans, but, as a classic film buff, Orson Welles would have approved highly of lack of color film.

The gorgeous black/while cinematography is beautifully rendered in this Blu-ray. A somber story of aging wild horse wranglers in Nevada may not appeal to all, but is elevated by knowing it was the final roles for both Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe. If the story appeals it's a must buy.

Although in black and white, this John Huston classic is not to be missed! Last turns for Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable and Montgomery Clift in (Monroe's husband at the time) Arthur Miller's script. Eli Wallach is Misfit number four, each trying to find their place in this ménage-a-quatre! Don't miss this beautiful high definition transfer!

This film is a classic with Gable , Monroe and the great actor Monty Cliff . It was the last film for Clark Gable . It is an emotional roller coaster with great writing , direction, cinema photography , acting all rolled up into one . If you love film this is a must

This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

This is a great remaster of this classic movie.It looks great considering the age of the film.This was the last film for Marilyn and Clark Gable.

I was unfamiliar with this movie but found it to be very entertaining. Monroe was good. Much better than I anticipated.

Love this movie. My grandkids watched it with me and they enjoyed it too. Entertaining and a quantum leap above most of the drivel cranked out today.
