Of course the Beasties would be the rappers that released an album without vocals. Great, vintage sounds. Sorta jazz, a little spacerock, a touch of funk and dub. Super groovy. Awesome for parties.

From one of the greatest musical bands in modern history, this fully instrumental album will flip your brain. If you are used to hearing the Beastie Boys rapping over old samples from rock, funk, soul, etc., then you know what kind of music inspires them. I feel like this album is a tribute to all those inspirations, but it makes something completely new and unique. It is really good listening for ambient party music or studying or working out. or just pop on a good pair of headphones and explore the wilderness of this soundscape safari.

This album is a classic instrumental. Excellent record. Best buy had a great selection and I will be shopping again.

While the Beastie Boys are known for their rap and hip hop, most of the general public don't know how talented of musicians they are. Many of their classic studio albums contain plenty of groundbreaking instrumentals so it seemed right that they'd eventually release an instrumental studio album. The tracks are creative and funky and go well with the rest of their catalog. This vinyl pressing sounds great too! A must for any Beasties fan and completist.
