Very well done, however it would have been nice to see SOME indication that there was NO English soundtrack at all, just English subtitles. Even with that caveat, I loved the story and the action, even though I had to read what everyone was saying. (7.1 Cantonese, 5.1 Mandarin sound) Why was the whole package in English and they didn't even have a lousy Mono English dub? (Not a trace of Chinese writing anywhere on outside, though they did list the sound formats as Canontese and Mandarin)

Best buy need to sell more of Asian movies. They would make alot money.

If you enjoy the journey to the west story line then you will like this movie. Even though Donnie Yen is not in this movie it didn't take away from the movie as I was reading rather than listening.

This movie starts a journey into the magical, mythical mind of the king and his trial to gain his freedom. I like fantasy and kung-fu so this works for me.

Aaron Kwok does a really good job in the title role if you are a fan of Chinese martial arts movies then you should pick this up.

Very few movies would not be distracting with subtitles, this is one of them. The nonstop action took this movie over the top.

I really enjoyed the Monkey King 2. The graphics are awesome. The story line is something to thing about after watching the movie. There was a lot to absorb. I needed to watch the movie again and didn't mind watching again. Great movie. Can't wait for part 3 to come out.

The graphic on this movie was amazing, if you are into martial arts, get this movie on blu ray.

A sequel to The Monkey King starring Donnie Yen, whom is not in this film and is replaced. The film has the same kind of vibe as the first. Honestly some may view this as better than the first, or about the same. Better films about the Monkey King have been made.

Nice that this sequel got released like this, but where is the first movie?

This film has a good story and action scenes, and the cgi looks fantastic.

This was a good fantasy, colorful and inventive. It was enjoyable.

My boys are into the Asian films. The martial arts delight them.

The movie is much better than the first movie for the Monkey King. Although the storyline was modified somewhat from the original book, the movies is still entertaining and worthwhile to watch it again.
