    This is an amazing movie about a German family caught up in the dangerous situation of pre World War Il when Hitler demanded ultimate loyalty from all his citizens, whether they believed in his extreme ideas or not!

    As good as I remembered! THE MORTAL STORM is an "under the radar" gem which definitely holds up! Well worth watching, certainly for any serious student of classic cinema!

    Steward is terrific. Supporting cast is wonderful. Screenplay is very good. Engaging film.
