I really wanted to like my Neat Scanner. It does help me save on a lot of clutter. It's big flaw is the software. It crashes about once per use. After some trouble shooting I have been unable to fix the problem. I have never run software on my Mac that has crashed this often. The software instability undermines my confidence in a device that is supposed to keep my documents safe for years to come.

Makes handling receipts for taxes a cinch. Anything can be scanned and archived for easy retrieval later on. Makes your desk less cluttered.

i like the scanner itself but the NEAT program is a little cumbersome to navagate. other than that, i am very happy. oh, one other thing.....when you scan in multiple pages, it creates a file for each page instead of keeping the pages together. i hope this is just a option i can change.

I have a home based business and it is very simple to separate business document from personal.

I wish I had purchased this a year ago, tracking receipts, etc would have been much simpler.

I absolutely love the NeatDesk Scanner! It works well for my receipts, documents and business cards. Having the options available for IRS categories is wonderful! The reporting feature is great! There are multiple reporting options which works well tibsatify a wide range of business and personal needs.

My husband bought this to reduce clutter and to use it to keep track of bills better. It seems to me it does nothing except scan and organize into folders unless you subscribe to the on line neat program. I do not want to store my financial stuff on the internet. Storing on my own computer is what I want to do but all the other functions where it analizes and pulls out info needed for taxes etc is not available.

This scanner has saved me time compared to my flatbed scanner. The scanner itself should have adjustable paper guides as the paper goes through crooked many times. The auto correct for skewed paper does a good job however when this happens. I like the flexibility of what you can do with the files - export to QB, export to a file on your computer or even scan as a pdf right to your file. Would like to see a way to quickly link to common files or a way to have a file naming convention.You can choose to keep them in the Neat program itself. Fairly easy learning curve. Cloud storage is extra. I had a difficult time installing the software and now I have to open it by selecting "run as administrator" - but it works well once open. Overall, I'm glad I made the investment and I think it will ultimately save lots of time.

Jus put your receipts, documents in & hit scan.. Great quality, luv it & Neat's software is user friendly.

Works better than my expectations. Literally cleared out a filing cabinet and best of all I can find documents easily. Easy to set up, intuitive, and a perfect addition to my home office.

I recently purchased the Neat Desk Scanner and I love it. I have been wanting something to help me get rid of all of my papers, so I could cut down the clutter in my house prior to a move. I love having a digit copy of all my important papers, which I save to a backup hard drive and a cloud, in case there is a fire or natural disaster.

I've owned the first version of Neat Receipt and this has come a long way since then.

DOES A GREAT JOB OF EASILY SCANNING DOCMENTS AND RECEIPTS. THE INTEFACE ALSO ALLOWS YOU TO STORE IN A FORLDER STRUCTURE.

Got this for my mom and she LOVES it! Very easy to use. We are very happy with it!
