Although I enjoy movies starring Samuel L Jackson...I don't remember ever seeing trailers of the Negotiator. I usually only buy movies that I absolutely love but the blurb on the jacket sounded interesting so I decided to take a chance. The story line and action held my interest from the first to last scene, I've noticed that Best Buy has cut down on the number of blu rays/dvds being carried. I hope they don't discontinue carrying these items. I enjoy the special features included with blu rays....which you don't get when watching movies on Netflix and similar alternatives.

The nineties were a great time for non CGI aciton flicks. If you love excellent action flicks like The Rock, or like to see big-budget blockbusters, a la ID4, this is the movie for you. If you are expecting another Usual suspects type or Pulp Fiction forget about it. Spacey and Jackson are awesome in this movie. The script and direction are all that keeps this film from becoming significant. I found myself so entertained and drawn in by the overall story, that I wished I was a little more stupid, so the plot would be a bit less predictable and the lines a little less awkward. In the end, though I highly recommend this movie. It won't touch you or leave you shaken, but it'll really get the pulse-pounding.

The Negotiator starring Samuel Jackson and Kevin Spacey. This is an excellent movie worth for stores easy it is an excellent Thriller makes you guess on each and every turn thinking who possibly set this man up and why and then when you find out it's three of his good friends on the force own my Lord you just want to do what he possibly could have done at the end shoot each and every one of them what they tried to do to Hannah what they did to his partner. This is a must-have if you like thrillers. Worthy of anybody's collection if you like police drama thrillers action adventure this is a good movie worth having.

One of my favorite movies! Action packed from start to finish with great writing and acting. The cast is superb! Jackson, Spacey, Walsh, Giamatti, and Morse give perfect performances. David Morse plays an intense role (not one of the truly main characters) and adds so much to the story and especially how he ends his part at the end of the movie. Awesome, edge of your seat movie!

Samuel L. Jackson. one of the best all time movies. Sam L being pushed to the brink of no escape with all factors against him and watching him prevail is very satisfying. The cleverness put into the schemes are very respectable and it is a great suspense, action, drama, and cop movie all rolled into one. Highly recommended and great for a movie night.

This movie is a great cop thriller. Kevin Spacey and Samuel Jackson give great performances as they deal with the issues of police corruption. There are a few cliche moments in there but the story is well done. Great Friday night flick. I've owned this movie for years but just recently bought for a friend.

I vividly remember watching this movie as a kid and even then I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next. The pace of this movie is great. The storyline also great. The intensity of not knowing how the ending was gonna play out made for a great level of suspense.

This movie will ALWAYS be a classic movie!! I got this to replace one that was stolen from my collection some time ago. Samuel L. Jackson is one of my favorite actors and his role in this film is magnificent.

This movie was awesome when it came out and to finally be able to add to my collection on blu ray for such a low price was great also.. Gotta watch this movie for a great story with twist and turns throughout

From crooked cops to a person being set-up. It all becomes complicated when dealing with a negotiator who knows how you work and what you will do in a hostage situation.

Samual L Jackson and Kevin Spacey give outstanding performances and there is a surprisingly rich and recognizable supporting cast. Just sit back and enjoy the film.

This makes a great addition to any collection, whether your a fan of Samuel L. Jackson or just like a good action film. Either way you can’t go wrong here.

It's an all time classic when it comes to police drama films. The acting and storyline is realistic and a tool to aid in interrogating techniques!

I remember when this movie came out. I have enjoyed watching this movie since. Goes great with popcorn and nachos.

I really love the action. Betrayal and triumph if the characters in this movie. I feel everyone should watch.

Terrific story that kept the movie moving to the point that before you knew it the movie was over. Suspenseful with wonderful acting by both Spacey and Jackson.

Great suspenseful flick where a hostage negotiator takes hostages to figure out a whodunnit.

This is one of my all time favorite movies and Bestbuy had it for a very reasonable price.
