This is an excellent 4K movie. The visual effects will impress any enthusiastic movie aficionados. The story is well written, and the actors are best of the best, in every scene.This will easily go in the collection, of great movies. Thank you Best Buy.

Better than I thought it would be. Strange plot but lots of surprise twists. The reason I dropped one star is for the over all purchasing experience. The USPS lost my package and claimed it was delivered. Then after I filled my complaint. Like magic about a week later it shows up in my mailbox. Package was ripped open and taped back together. Nice Job. I don't blame Best Buy for this but wish a ship to the store option had been available. Mail service has steadily gone down in my area. This is not the first time but one of several incidents to that I have had to deal with this year.

This was one of the few movies to come into theatres in 2020, and I got a chance to see it. The movie will pretty much appeal only to fans of the X-Men series. In that context, it's not as bad as you might have heard. It has some good performances from the cast, and the effects are decent. Technically, this 4K disc is great! Picture quality is WAY above what I saw in the theatre, and the disc sports a nice Dolby Atmos track that will give your home theatre a workout. In short..you could do FAR worse things with 94 minutes than sit down and watch this movie.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one, but be warned it started off real slow and came on strong at the end. I don't want to spoil any major plot points so I'll just say it's set in the X-Men universe before the acquisition by Disney. It's a story about young mutants, based on the 1980's comic series. It was indeed a bit on the creepy side as I had heard, not quite straight up horror but definitely elements of scares in here. I'm not sure why it had so many changes and reshoots in production, but it came out enjoyable.

This movie isn’t horrible how people put it out to be. If your looking for and X-men movie well you will be disappointed and that’s why this was given thumbs down. Yes it’s marvel but with a twist of horror and a good plot that’s what I enjoyed about it. For all you horror fans this movie will put you in the mind of a nightmare on elm 3 : the dream warriors but without Freddy. Lol! And this was shot in 8k so if you want a demo reference 4K to show off to company well here it is.

I originally saw movie in theaters, but I have not received my order just yet, even after days of the intended delivery date. Oh well. The movie is very good, not perfect, but it satisfied my Marvel itch. I think that Danielle Moonstar was supposed to be the main protagonist, yet she failed to deliver, & Miss Illyana Rasputina aka Magik stole the show entirely in the most beautiful of ways!! Must see I think

Only problem with this purchase, was I ordered online, which said next day delivery, but didn’t receive for 2 1/2 weeks. If buying, suggest buying at store. Movie itself was good. Action adventure and some scenes had me jumping out of my seat, actually scary and startling. Great special effects and sound was superb.

So as a 4k movie this really shines, Fox really did a great job as the last movie they mastered without Disney's interference. The 4k UHD really looks surprisingly great - one of the best of 2020 from a technical viewpoint. The movie story and plot-wise really wasn't that good but it wasn't as bad as the critics would have think. Some of the effects were a little half baked, but some were amazing so mixed bag there. The Sound with a good surround system preferably Atmos will knock your socks off esp. In the low end. In short this mastering was flawless, the movie unfortunately less so, but it can and will give your AV system a workout.

Honestly, this movie is not bad like everyone says it is. This is not a typical "X-MEN" movie. This one is almost completely on it's own. It's like a young teen horror movie. I thought it was fun movie, that I would love to see a direct sequel, but I know will probably never happen.

X-Men or no X-Men... Mutants on steroids.. kids trying to find their way in the world.. kids with anger issues..? Or coming of age... Let's just say ... Hmmm watch it.. judge for yourself... No spoilers from me .. and no the butler didn't do it...!

I bought this movie because hey I like Marvel movies, it's Covid and I need something to watch. What a interesting genre for a Marvel movie and I think this was a good fit for it. Anyone into sci-fi horror and/or comic book movies this is your movie.

I really wanted to love this movie, and I generally like most movies, or find something to like about them. Anya Taylor Joy as Illyana Rasputin was the best thing about this movie. She really understood the character from the comics while the rest did not really. If you are looking for another X-men type movie from the Singer era, than this might be something that you would enjoy but if you were hoping for that new direction in the Marvel mutant franchise, you will likely be disappointed.

About 6 or 7 people, in deserted area in the forest, in a abandoned facility. All have no real connection to each other. But they have unique ability to the average people. The reason where there is here strange than who they are.

This is a weird, quirky take on "The New Mutants" comic from the 80s. In the comics, these young mutants were the standout students at Xavier's school--junior X-Men, in other words. In this story, they are prisoners at a special hospital until their mutant powers are "safe" for humanity. "The New Mutants" is more a of a horror movie than an average superhero film. I liked it more than I thought I would. There are some good actors, and the story is interesting.

Not to bad in all honesty. Im not fond of some of the movie in particular, but a good watch. I enjoyed it. It looks fantastic on my 4k Setup, some deep colors and a crystal clear picture! Worth the watch on 4k setup!

3 Stars given for a movie that is just “Meh.” The UHD presentation is stunning, but it’s not enough to elevate this turkey past 3 Stars. Ostensibly set on the same universe as Fox’s X-Men franchise, this film offers little to tie it to the other films. Some might interpret this as reason for the film to stand on its own. If it a good film I might agree. This one is for die hard Mutant fans. Even they may experience buyers remorse.

Movie starts off where you are not sure who can do what. It stays where you are guessing just about the whole time. In the end it’s not what you expect so I’m my opinion it’s not to bad!

I am a big fan of all things Marvel, but I was very disappointed with this addition to the Marvel Universe. It was slow and very little action in the movie, especially for being a new addition to the franchise. Hopefully if they continue with this particular group of Mutants the movies get better and have lots of action and perhaps a plot. This is just my own opinion, so check it out if you want to or not, nothing lost there.

The picture, sound, etc. are all great. Heck, even the acting is quite good. But the movie is sooooo boring. I've watched about 45 minutes of it, but was simply not able to finish. (Or risk falling asleep.) And I say this as someone who liked *all* the other X-Men movies, including the other recent one. I mean, I didn't love any of them, but I at least enjoyed all the others.

A good movie that explains individual mutant powers. My favorite comic books were the X-men. I also read the New Mutants comics as well. I anticipated this movie for a long time.
