The kids love this movie and it is something we watch "The night before every Christmas." This is a great movie and the Steel Book collection from Best Buy is one of my favorites. They are great to display in a collection. If you see a steel book at Best Buy you need to get it. They've really done a great job on this movie. It has excellent cinematic affects and you can't stop watching until it is done. Getting the 4k with Blu Ray and Digital copy is definitely the way to go and now with Movies Anywhere it makes it easy to watch wherever you go. Best Buy also has the better price now that Amazon is in VA, they charge tax on everything as well. A great thing about purchasing at Best Buy is getting rewards points which you don't get elsewhere. It quickly adds up.

Such a great show to tell the relavence of Christmas. Jack Skellington thinks he should remake Cristmas in his scary, Halloween style but comes around to understand the love and joy that comes with the season. Excellent animation and a fantastic soundtrack!

If there ever was a unique and off the way celebration of Christmas, Tim Burton's Halloween turned Christmas holiday musical is one of the most ingenious classics of the genre ever. With a cast of creeping, yet entertaining Halloween meanies, and a skinny skeleton who masterminds a Christmas mayhem, The Grinch must take a back seat. THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS is a film worthy to hang in any Christmas stocking. Delightful creepiness in the end spells holiday cheer for the entire family to enjoy, even the kids!

Having purchased this to watch with my daughter I was blown away with how amazing this version of the movie looks. The last time I have watched the movie it was on VHS. To see it in HD and surround sound it was as if I was seeing it for the first time again. Also, the ability to watch the songs with the onscreen lyrics is perfect for the kids who want repeated viewings of “Kidnap Sandy Claws”. So happy that a serendipitous conversation with my daughter lead to me picking this up and watching it with her.

This is a steelbook for you. No, you won't find a bunch of added stuff in the case but the case itself is simple and reminds you of the art when Jack is in the forrest with the doors to all of the different universes where each has their own iconic emblem. This movie borrows from that but keeps Jack's face on a black background which makes it plain. Most people prefer the cleaner look and don't need anything overdone so this was a good choice by Disney.

The Nightmare before Christmas is the best movie ever!!! I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it!!! You will be singing the songs long after you finish the movie!!! Danny Elfman as Jack Skellington is amazing!!! So is the rest of the cast!!! I cannot say enough great things about this movie!!! You can watch it not only at Christmas or Halloween time, I watch it anytime of year!!! This movie will have you mesmerized!!!

I was already ready to buy this, since Best Buy had the best deal for the DVD version. I really wanted to get the Steelbook version, but unfortunately, it only was sold by Blu-Ray. I didn't own a Blu-Ray, so I decided to be safe than to buy the DVD version. I am starting a Disney collection, and my favorite all time movie is Nightmare Before Christmas and Jack is my all time favorite character, next to Mickey Mouse!

This release is all about the vision. The quality of focal depth with the blu-ray is so rich and detailed. I felt I was watching it again with fresh eyes. Textures and extra background elements come alive in ways I had missed during my umpteen former viewings in standard format. Some of the 3D content really jumps; but I say its just an added bonus to throw a little thrill and chill back into the most classic of gothic operas.

Cute movie that puts a spin on Halloween/Christmas and keeps you engrossed throughout.

Omg! Where could you possibly even start?! The nightmare before Christmas is as classic as it gets I enjoyed this movie at halloween and christmas every year since I was a child and enjoy it just as much as an adult. It is a little dark and can be scary to kids but theres something about it that's so intriguing and we watch it October-Janurary every year!!

This is one of the movies we watch at least once a year. I've owned it on DVD for years, but was happy when I found it on blu-ray. Quality is really nice, a noticeable upgrade over the DVD and the extras were nice add on. Some of the additional content was stuff I have not seen before on other editions.

Very odd but interesting and fun take on the holidays of Halloween and Christmas. This copy includes blu ray and digital copy but not DVD. It is a sing along special edition for sale price of 8.95 plus tax. It's loaded with again odd characters. Fun to watch when in from the cold.

A great blu-ray release for one of the greatest animated movies of all time. The movie was made in a 1.66:1 aspect ratio, so expect the black bars on the side. The picture quality is perfect, with the 7.1 surround sound audio track being just as good. A recommend for fans of this movie.

This movie is an absolute classic. It's perfect for Halloween *and* the time between Halloween and Christmas time. It has great songs, the style is terrific, and it's a fun movie. The Blu-ray transfer also looks *really* good. It's a terrific movie for the price.

This was exactly what I expected. The price a was a great value. The best part of this purchase was I shopped on line then picked up my purchase at the store. Saved me a lot of time by doing store pick-up and I didn’t have to wait for it to be mailed to me.

When i first saw this movie i thought it was dumb... Then my 5 year old fell in love with it and after seeing it again, i realized that this movie is excellent. Not only is it a Halloween movie, but a Christmas move too.. How can you go wrong?

So I am a huge fan of NBC and love the character Jack Skellington. This is a must have for the true fan of the movie and the music. Love the sing-a-long aspect and the fact that is was the special 25th anniversary edition. If you can still find it go get it!

I searched for this movie online, And compared prices. I found Best Buy to have the most affordable price by far. I received the movie within a week, in perfect condition. What a great place to shop, and customer service is outstanding.

This Tim Burton produced stop gap animation movie has reached classic status through the years. With great Danny Elfman songs (and his singing voice!) , and holiday mash-up plot, it's destined to stay that way for a long, long time.

The movie is just as good as I remember it when first watching as a kid. I don't even like musicals and I'll watch this every year. The packaging is to be expected, nothing to special even though it's a 25th anniversary edition.
