    it was a little hard to follow and didn't care much for the over the top action

    The acting was good, The story line was if it had been taken from Sheakspear's Hamlet ,Then played as vikings. The whole brother killing brother so he could have his wife thing.

    Alexander Skarsgard truly reached into his history and played an incredible viking. The Berserker scene was incredibly acurate,\.

    If you love the Vikings series on the History Channel you will love this film lot of action cinematography music Atmosphere everything is great!

    This is an interesting movie. It gives the insight into the viking world. It's a life long search for the main character to avenge his family.

    The director's previous films, The Witch & The Lighthouse were truly great & off beat films. Not so The Northman. I was disappointed. The Northman has a great cast & is a great production & that's it. A story of revenge & not much else. It was like watching a long episode from the tv series Vikings.

    A great mix of action and drama. The inspiration for Hamlet crossed with Norse mythology is amazing! Oscar worthy in every way.

    Great Viking revenge story. Skarsgard is perfectly cast. The film is dark and moody with lots of gore. Loved it.
