There weren't as many jump scares as I expected but the story was pretty darn good. Wish it were a bit more frightening.

I love scary movies and this was a good one. I was particularly interested in the Digital Copy feature of this purchase.

Part of the '"Conjuring" series. Starts and ends with a bang with a many twists and turns in the middle. The viewer gets a better idea of what can happen if you push too far!

I bought this for my teens. They enjoyed it. They said it was a great movie to watch and it was full of surprises.

the movie itself is not very good, but the cinematography is remarkable and the clarity of the blu ray presentation highlights this in the best way possible.

When I first saw The Demonic Nun character in “The Conjuring 2,” I was immediately terrified by the character’s presence in the movie and felt scared of the dark again. I knew right then, I LOVED the character and the second movie as well. “The Nun” offers plenty of jump scares, a haunting gothic atmosphere setting, and scary pace of a horror movie. However, it’s not as scary as The Conjuring Movies, has a pretty weak narrative, and thin character development but is passable for a 90+ min movie. But The Nun character is still the scariest antagonist character I’ve ever seen in a horror movie and may make you be afraid of the dark, again. Might want to keep a light on all night. Grade: “B-“

If you like The Conjuring series then this is a must have. The movie works just fine as a stand-alone film too.

Good suspenseful horror movie. Story unfolded continuously over the length of the movie until the final scene.

The movie was ok, was slow on how Valak came to be but had some good jump scare in some part of the movie

The Conjuring series has been great to varying degrees. I would place this one just about the middle of the pack. I enjoyed the atmosphere and visuals, but felt they sometimes relied on jump scares a bit too much. I didn't think it was very scary, but sufficiently creepy. The last quarter of the film left me a little disappointed, but I enjoyed the movie overall.

I liked the movie.. Better than I expected. It made me scream a few times, and was creepy in a good way.
