Gave to my daughter. She is a school teacher. She showed it to her world histor classes and all loved it.

Classic tale of the book everyone had to read in school, Assante is very good and the gladiator genre is payed homage to in this one, definitely worth adding to the collection

What I like most is that it follows the book exactly. The special effects and general visuals are terrific and the acting is great too. I was especially impressed that it stays true to the source material.

I remember watch this on tv and then on VHS. Does not have bluray, but still better than VHS. Brought back childhood memories of watching as a child.

When I got this film from Best buy and I put it to watch I was disappointed at all. The acting is excellent as well as the story. The same thing goes for the music, excellent.

This made for tv saga was one of my favorites. In its time the special effects were top notch. The story and cast of actors and actresses were wonderful. Our family enjoys mythology and learning about the stories of Greece and Rome, and this one wasn't too far off. Very entertaining.

I remember seeing this on VHS back in elementary school, so I immediately had to purchase it when I saw it. It is definitely a great teaching tool to explain The Odyssey.

If you enjoy the story of the Odyssey, you will enjoy this move. Great cast and really enjoyed watching the story come to life on the screen!

Great sword & sandal mini series. Great cast . Armand Assante is terrific as the King trying to make his way home after the Trojan Wars.

Depicted in the classical period of history, it typifies the greed and criminal nature of once known friends and comrades.

This movie is one of my favorites! I love Greek Mythology. This is a must for anyone who enjoys Greek Mythology!

This miniseries does a great job in recreating a long told story. The cameos are also great.

90's Mini-series of the Greek story. Decent CGI, not much crew characterization, but hey, it's all about the guy on the cover.

I am not trying to tell anyone that this movie is excellent. It is a made for tv retelling of Homer's epic. It is well done and enjoyable. I don't think you would regret the purchase. I have been wanting them to re-release this for so long. It hasn't aged well, but still enjoyable.
