This is an interesting movie, with a storyline that hasn't been done before. There is clear chemistry between Leighton Meester and Hugh Laurie that remains from earlier work done together. There were some funny parts and others that just made you think.

This movie could be defined as socially awkward. Hughie Laurie does a great acting job, as well as the main focus families. The tension is very realistic yet the storyline took you for a curve you weren't quite expecting.

This movie was funny and entertaining. Some parts are a little slow, but all in all, not a bad flick. It was worth it for the price when I purchased it as a deal of the day.

This movie had its funny moments. It wasn't the best comedy ever, but it was a decent movie that gave me a few laughs. Hugh Laurie is a bonus. The characters are all great, but the storyline is pretty cheesy at times.

Pretty obvious this movie was inspired by the mini-plot in House,MD concerning the "affair" with Leighton Meester's character and House. Haven't finished this movie yet but from what I have seen it's a very good movie.

I kept waiting to laugh, it never happened. I thought it was a comedy, you are suppose to believe it is okay for him to have an affair with his daughters ex-best friend because he is not completely happy. Then the girl breaks it off and his marriage is over, but now he's happy? Lame, the chemistry between the actors is not there. I wished I didn't own it, I would have rather waited to watch it on cable. I only gave it two stars because I like some of the actors, especially in other movies.

An unrealistic, dry, and unbelievable story that tries to lighten itself up as a comedy but could pass mostly for a tame, scandal oriented cable based drama on a tryst between a patriarch and his neighbor friends' twenty year old daughter. Catherine Keener is great, while most actors and sub-plots are pointless in chatter. The ending is modest, but this is a movie you could watch once if the pacing wasn't so dull. Rent it.
