Will there be a 4th series, the qualities of the DVD's are excellent!

my daughter had the vampire diaries and I thought I would watch them to see why she was so into them. I admit they are nice. I don't quite agree with all the underage drinking, but in today's day and age, I guess that is an acceptable thing. I thought for me that it was just to young a series for me. I very happy when the originals split off and started their own show. it deals with adults much more and I actually like it. again there is a lot of drinking, but much more enjoyable for me. I like both series, this one better. I hope it continues!!!

The second season the Originals on blu ray continues the story of the Mikelsons in New Orleans. The story line I believe is better than the Vampire Diaries. I look forward to the third season and future events in New Orleans. Blu Ray quality is good but the set only has three disks. Episodes appear to be compressed. Picture quality is still good but I wonder if it would have been better if not so compressed.

This is only the second season and my friends got me hooked on this series. If you liked "TRUE BLOOD" or "THE VAMPIRE DIARIES" you will probably like this series as well. We like watching the show and seeing hoe the French Quarter here in New Orleans is being portrayed (Hollywood Style). Popcorn with EXTRA butter and friends to watch it with; Now that is a way to spend a rainy weekend :o)

I watched this show on the cw and fell in love with it. The second season is just like the first season but better. If you like vampires and werewolves then you will love this show. Also, fans of The Vampire Diaries will love seeing characters from it brought into the new surrounding of new orleans.

This series is like a grown up version of The Vampire Diaries. It is a spin off of TVDs with actors that were in the show but holds it own in a great new series. Set in New Orleans there are vampires, witches and werewolves. No teen angst just lots of good action, fighting and killing.

Like Vampire Diaries, some mythology has become too complicated, but the early years of this new show are still fueling it. It is a let down to not have Claire Holt as a known permanent cast member and despite good performance, the alternate just isn't the same.

The Originals Season Two DVD is great for fans of the show. The set has some great extra features and you get to re-watch the episodes back to back. This show continues to get better each season, and this set is perfect for fans of the show,

I love this show. It's so intriguing and makes you want to watch more after each episode. I have been following the characters since vampire diaries and I have loved being able to watch what happens to them through the seasons.

An awesome spinoff from the Vampire Diaries that follows the very first vampires ever created along with werewolves and witches. Always filled with an exciting plot and never a dull moment in the Mikaelson household.

Was first introduced to this show by my cousin having me watch Vampire Diaries! I feel that this show is the grown-up equivalent to that show...whereas Vampire Diaries seems more geared to the teenagers, we get our vampire fix via The Originals! I will say, I do enjoy the Vampire Diaries a bit more, but this series holds its own!

Besides being in-human creatures of the night, they show a more human trait in protecting their family and possessions. The story line keeps you interest in their actions.

Great cast and crew. Directors are awesome the storyline keeps getting better and loving the fact it's in Louisiana. I hope that this show will continue for a long time

Love the Originals series. I recommend to all who loves a good drama with werewolves, vampires and witches.

The series is great. Great storytelling and independent from its parent series. The storylines get more addictive as the storyline continues. Overall great series.

I love this show, as always Niclaus the mastermind up to his schemes. Good action and drama wrapped up in a vampire, witch, wolf packaging.

Vampire diaries got me to watch the originals and like it better.

You have to get this! They have to make this a movie ! I would go see this in a movie theater. I will be waiting for the new season.
