Great start to the series. Looking forward to season two.

A refreshing departure from the standard TV SciFi paradigm.

This is a funny show, but you have to get the humor.

Used my Birthday discount from Best Buy to purchase this. Still a good price without it. I really enjoyed this program. The tongue in cheek jokes are wonderful. The slapstick items are forward, but the really funny items are the innocent looking acts. Good action and good thought provoking shows looking at today's real life situations. Order came very quickly and safely.

This film series s not for everyone. if you have young children, I would not recommend it. The jokes are sometimes course and suggestive. If you're an adult and like Star Trek, you probably will like this. The people are real with their remarks (things you would never think Kirk or Spock would say), however the humor is good. The special effects are great. Definitely worth your time if you fit into those categories.

A decent sci-fi show that uses Star Trek as it's model. The show, staring Seth McFarland as captain of a starship called "Orville". Episodes range from action, humor, and suspense, while making commentary on current events and ideas. If you are familiar with McFarland's other shows like "Family Guy" and like "Star Trek" then you'll enjoy this show. Both DVD and Blue-Ray also include a number of extras as well.

My wife and I actually watched this one online but it's definitely a keeper! Much like the original Star Trek... but with blackjack and hookers! LOL! Brings things back to what Star Trek used to be. Exploring, seeking out new life and new civilizations... but also having lots of fun doing it. A new classic and definitely one we want to get each season of.

The Orville is a genius series. A few of the scenarios are a little too lax for me at times but overall this series is a gem. Not much of a Macfarlane fan but this series is gold. If you're a Star Trek fan, but hate what CBS is trying to dish out in these modern times, give The Orville a try. It has become more Star Trek than Star Trek currently is.

I grew up watching the original classic Star Trek. When Star Trek Discovery was on, it was a big disappointment, not Star Trek at all. Now there is Orville, a Great series that I enjoy. It has the feeling of Star Trek than STD. If you like Star Trek and comedy, you will enjoy this series and a must have for your collection. The only downside is it only comes in DVD format.

ORVILLE was initially billed as a "parody" of Star Trek, but it matured into a great show on it's own. Like Trek, it addressed controversial social/political/cultural issues. The "Crew" gel-ed into a great ensemble cast, and the humor is great! Recommend owning Seasons 1 & 2 while you wait Season 3 (rumored to be streaming in Late 2020)

I think that "The Orville" is one of the greatest new series of all-time and it is also one of my favorite new series of all-time. I was really excited to see "The Orville" and I immediately enjoyed it and I also think that "The Orville" has a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, humor, mystery and suspense including exciting and original storylines.

This is a fun sci-fi with a sense of humor. There is action, humor, and romance. It is about the future similar to Startrek. The story tackles relationships and science with a sense of humor. All of the characters are likeable and fun to follow their stories in each episode. If you like Startrek give this a try.

The Orville is a great, funny little SciFi show - perfect for watching during these dark times of Covid. This one is a little uneven sometimes as they sort out the characters ands story lines but overall very entertaining and just the break you need.

I prefer action to the comedy in this series not a fan of seth mc as a actor others in cast are ok

A fun trip through space with characters that are relatable. Have this season and the second, they both are great. I hope that they release more seasons soon.

Had a few laughs. Maybe it'll be better on the second viewing.

Finally a Space adventure just for the fun of it . They still approach taboo subjects like the old series but the humor is more intentional . I like it & glad I got the DVD's.

Seth did a great job of creating a SciFi series that is both fun to watch. I am very happy they are starting there 2nd season end of Dec. Look forward to a great series

I love Seth MacFarlane and his humor, If you want to see a great show this is it. The cast in this show rocks, There in outer space and it's funny you will laugh.
