We actually picked this movie up for my dad who is very particular about movies. He likes older films but very few. He watched this while he was visiting one weekend and loved it.

Yes Clint was great in all of his movie's, especially westerns. But this one to me was a classic and one I could watch over and over. Glad I have this one to keep, and son loves it also.

This is one of Clint Eastwood's best when he was still in his prime. It's gritty, tough, and tells a story. It was a great buy as well so I added it to my collection in a heartbeat.

(copied my review for the same movie on a different format) : It's a classic, and a lot of fun to follow. A lot of classic Eastwood action and story. Definitely a favorite.

Heard nothing good reviews I need to watch this one soon

I can't believe this movie is from 1976, and that is about when I saw it last until now when I bought it. What a great movie. Hard to believe 40 years old! I noticed that the scenes were rather dark in places, perhaps because the movie is old? Not sure, but I would have given it 5 stars otherwise. Still, reasonable price, great movie.

Outstanding movie for a great price. One of actor Clint Eastwood's best films of all time. The DVD comes in a solid case and it has great picture quality

My husband watched this movie every time he could when it was on TV. It was the perfect gift to give him for his birthday. Now he can watch it whenever he wants to.

I am a western fan since early childhood and this one ranks among the best of the west. It's a long one and that's a good thing. It also fills out the characters so well.

This is a movie I remember from growing up. My dad would laugh until he cried and now that he is gone, I can watch it as if he were her with me. Very old but funny!

Excellent movie! Wasn't ready for it to be over. Eastwood does such a great job of playing a bad good-guy. Really enjoyed all of the characters.

What can I say about this movie? Nothing except that if you like westerns and/or Clint Eastwood, you must see this movie. Looks better than ever before on blu-ray.

One of his better movies, this is NOT a "spaghetti" western. I don't want to spoil it, but you will not be disappointed.
