It's a great series that shows the brutally of the Pacific theater in WWII. Great that they covered this and Band of Brothers. Got it for a great price on black friday. Can't believe it went that low.

I totally enjoyed this series when it first came out and have been looking forward to purchasing it. Best Buy had a really good price on it and I am now able to add this collection to my video library.

This series along with Band Of Brothers are the best representations of what our fathers and grandfathers endured during their service during WWII. A must have for everyone interested in WWII.

This is a great companion piece with the Band of Brothers series. It really demonstrates the horrors of war and the difference between the war in Europe and the war in the Pacific.

Really enjoyed the video. Thought I was getting something from the History Channel rather than a mini-series (my mistake). However, I still enjoyed the video very much and would recommend it to others.

This sibling to Band of Brothers was equally as amazing. The clarity and realism of both sound and picture made the footage on this over-the-top and completely added to the realism.

The Pacific is a great series. In my opinion, it is not as good as Band of Brothers but still a good series. If you like the pacific theater of the war, then you will definitely like this series.

Amazing picture quality and reference quality sound from this blu ray set! The story is compelling and the characters are well developed. Highly recommended companion series to band of brothers.

If you love was movies. Events from the past then you need to watch this series. Very powerful and moving the kind of stuff that these soldiers got through in the second World War.

I bought this set of movies for my grandfather. He was very happy with the movies and enjoyed them. I would recommend this for anyone who is interested in the subject.

Seen it before and had to have it. Be best to wait for it when it's on sale. Must have if you ever served in the Armed Forces. I coukd image what these Brave Men had to endure in this time.

For fans of "Band of Brothers", which was centered on the war in Europe, "The Pacific" completes the picture by focusing on the pacific theater of operations. Although I didn't feel this series was as involving as "Band of Brothers", it is ,never the less, a must-see companion piece needed to fill in the whole vista of what American G.I.s experienced during WWII.

It's a well made well acted series. The story is your typical war fare (get it, warfare? Ok), but it is still exciting and worth watching. Also at $18 it's a terrific bargain.

What a great DVD to journey through some of the epic battles and events of WWII. It gives you a better appreciation of what some of the brave people went through so that we may enjoy our freedom.

This is a Great follow up to Band of Brothers, and is something that our (older)children should watch.

Must see. This review is for my son. He bought the movie and I remember walking through the living room seeing him watch it. He loved army movies and I know he really liked this one. RIP G
