Great movie with great characters! Gibson turned out a fine performance, as well as Ledger. Isaacs always plays a great villain, despite being one of the nicest people in real life!

I know this film plays a lot with the actual events and people it is based on, but it is still a good watch and it shows a younger Heath Ledger who’s star was still rising when this film came out.

wow I loved this movie before and have it in DVD, purchased the BluRay 'Extended Cut' and so much more scenes in the extended cut then the regular Patriot movie...very happy

This movie makes you proud to be an American sure it's not historical accurate but the action and the way it was filmed made you feel like you were on the battlefield with the character's it made you cry it made you cheer it made you scream

The movie is a great historical movie and we can't wait to get it. But the only problem is the delivery is almost 3 weeks for free delivery and that's just outrageous so the movie is great but the delivery I give a 0 star

The movie itself is great and I already had the DVD and blue ray. Now the 4K and Dolby Atmos features gave me a whole new awesome experience.

The Blu-Ray version of this film was pretty darn good, but this 4K Remaster is head and shoulders above! Colors are rich and vibrant, blacks are super inky, and resolution uptick just makes everything look that much better.

Fantastic movie Mel Gibson and Heath ledger do a great job in this movie along with the supporting cast with a few other movie actors that I’ve seen in other films and TV shows

There are a lot of Civil War movies, but not a lot of movies about the American Revolution. This one draws you in from the perspective of a large southern family as this was unfolds across their home and their lives. Really well done.

Such a great film. I just had to add it to the library. I just wish it came with the digital code for the digital library too.

I am by no means a fan of this movie but my wife absolutely loves it. The picture is awesome on QLED TV. Works as expected.

If you're looking of a 100% historically accurate movie this is not for you. If you're looking for a great action movies set in the time period you can't do better.

Highly underrated period epic. The John william's score is fantastic and the cinemaphotography is great. Probably worth upgrading to the 4K version. I will say though, the extended cut IMHO detracts from the solid pacing of the theatrical version.

I know this movie was not recently released but it's a great movie. Great story line, some sadness, but it inspires. And the ending. It's amazing how just one event led to the whole movie and totally changed the outcome.

If your looking at this movie in 4K you know it’s a classic. The picture in 4K is well worth the upgrade from blu-ray. I especially love the final battle scene with all the details and colors popping out.

This was a gift for my husband who enjoys military history. When he was in the Navy, we had a tour of duty in Charleston, SC, and visited a lot of the surrounding area and plantations. It brought back some memories..

What can you say about Mel Gibson? This is one of his epic movies. Loved it f rom start to finish. Definitely packed with action galore. A must see.

Had the DVD and the Blu-ray edition now includes subtle extensions to the overall story which is a welcomed edition. For fans of this film you'll definitely appreciate the add-on story depth and the transfer to Blu-ray is top notch. I certainly hope they eventually provide an extended sound track to accompany this film as the current one does not reflect all the great works from John Williams in this film.

This is a older movie that I originally saw in a movie theater and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife, who has not seen it, can watch it anytime we want.

Worth owning & movie itself is worth watching. 4k was clean on the OLED & the Dolby Atmos was massive on my 11.2 (7.2.4) system, good amount of height ceiling surround & explosions from all angles!
