Some people might be turned off by the title of this film or the nature of this film. The plot of this movie is rather unique and filled with plenty of unique characters. Shia shines in the movie. The reason I say that is because he accepts the main character (who has a disability) for who he is. And encourages him to chase after his dream instead of staying put to where he isn't feeling loved. Dakota is absolutely amazing and loving. She starts off to find the main character to bring him back to the place he feels unloved, but as the film develops she realizes on how happy he is. Overall this movie is about finding people in your life that are your people...your tribe. People who will accept you for who you are and encourage you to do what you want to do, but also displaying care when worried.

The Peanutbutter Falcon is the story of a young man living in an institution with down syndrome whose path collides with another young man played by Shia LeBouff as they embark on a journey together to realize the young man with down syndrome's dream of becoming a professional wrestler. It's a funny and heartwarming film that never feels too schmaltzy nor does it condescend its lead character. This is a gem that is worth anyone's time and this blu ray offers a great presentation and is generally too affordable to pass up!

The Peanut Butter Falcon is probably the sweetest movie in years, all without being too cheesy or afraid to be dark. LaBeouf is on fire, but the rest of the cast is just so good. Despite one questionable shot in during a major plot moment, the entire film is incredibly enjoyable. While not for all audiences, While it is short on special features, most indie movies fail to deliver on them typically, so I wasn't expecting much. Nonetheless, the movie is plenty worth the price alone.

An American classic that could only have been made in America. The open landscape. the backyard wrestling, the down and out left to their own devices, all wrapped up in a heartwarming package.

This movie surprised me. There were a few moments that I thought it would follow some cliche beats or story structure, but it didn't. The acting is incredible and the story felt so realistic I questioned whether or not it was based on real events. Above all, it is incredibly emotional, so I dare someone to watch it and not get choked up at least once!

We watched this movie with our movie club and it is the first of the movies that I watched in one sitting. It is the absolute best movie ever! The characters are great and the storyline, although not very likely, was really fun to watch. I highly recommend this movie to everyone!

This movie didn't come to a theater close to us, but we heard great things about it. We bought the DVD and loved the movie. We hadn't seen Shia Labeouf for awhile and were glad to see him again and appreciated his acting. The young man with Down Syndrome has a gift for acting, too. Loved the movie!

Great movie for anyone who loves a genuine good storyline, actors, heart, and comedy! The sense of truth and adventure is amazing! There is some violence and language but nothing too severe or graphic, which made it a family favorite. Would recommend to anyone thirteen and up, you won’t be disappointed.

We loved this movie! As a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and 1 tween it is really tough to find a movie that is appropriate and enjoyable for all of us. This movie is one of our new favorites! Highly recommend!

This movie is fantastic and if it doesn't move you as a viewer well then you are stone cold! The performances are stellar and the story is touching. Its competently made and shot. This is a sweet movie with a great ending. The acting is superb and the character development is spot on. The characters change throughout, and that's very appealing. They're very likeable.

Loved this movie! Refreshing, unique, and emotional. Shia and Zack deliver believable performances that draw you into the friendship and the love this movie promotes. Directors/Writers Neilson and Schwartz did a wonderful job adapting this film for Zack.

One of the most heartwarming movies ever made, you cant help but to go through this journey without a smile on your face the entire time! Shia is one of the most talented actors to have ever lived his performance will leave you in tears.

I really enjoyed this movie in theaters and couldn't pass when it became available for purchase I got it for a bargain of a price I would highly recommend this movie to anyone it kinda reminds me of a modern day Huck finn.

I had seen this movie at an independent theater where international, independent and foreign movies are featured. I am glad to see it available but budget constrictions probably limited it to blu-ray format. The movie is worth the cost.

Fantastic film, compelling with dramatic and silly comedic moments, Makes you think about how people who have different abilities than you live and what they are truly capable of.

From start to finish I could not stop smiling. I mean yeah there was some tear jerkers but the entire cast, especially Zack Gottsagen, the story, and pacing were so great. Never a dull moment. Even suspenseful at times.

This has become one of my all time favorite feel good movies. I could watch this every day, and never get bored by it. 100% would recommend.

This is a very underrated little film that will give you feels. I couldn't help having a smile and maybe a little tear on my face throughout. Great cast and chemistry. Shia and Zack are great together.
