Finally a CGI Charlie Brown movie. New meets old, you get the best of both worlds. Charlie Brown is a classic updated with modern times and CGI. A Must watch for the older fans.

Great movie to watch if you are young at heart. Miss the simplicity of cartoons. Peanuts, too cool.

Like so many approximately my age, I was raised on the Charlie Brown animated specials and fondly remember "Peanuts" being among the strips I enjoyed the most while flipping through the "funnies" at my grandmother's house. "The Peanuts Movie" makes so many loving references to the half-century of source material while still feeling fresh in and of itself. When I first heard it was going to be computer-animated, I was a bit worried ... then I saw the first footage/trailer and my fears were lessened ... then I saw the film and my fears went away completely. Everything about the animation still "feels" like Charlie Brown, and Snoopy's World War I Flying Ace sequences would never have been so grand otherwise. I'm only sorry this film didn't get more attention during its theatrical run, as it's a beautiful, heartfelt, nostalgic look at beloved characters. Simple it may be, but simplistic it is not. The bonus features are a fantastic testament to the painstaking lengths to which the creative team went to preserve Schulz's vision ... plus, I was fortunate enough to get the edition with the stuffed Snoopy which was certainly an added bonus. I highly recommend this film to everyone, from 1 to 111.

My son loves this movie. I bought it with a new 4k Blu-ray player and it looks great in this format!

I've been an avid Peanuts fan since the 1970's, and before I had seen this new full length movie, I wasn't sure if it was going to capture the same nostalgic feeling as the classics. However, I'm very glad I bought this (despite not seeing in the theater first). There is a very high level of subtle details (textures,color gradiants0, yet it's very much still done in the same style we are all used to. It's still 'cartoon' but exceptionally detailed in just the right ways. Seemingly "simple" details like the classic peanuts snow fall tends to really pop out nicely on the screen. As far as the movie plot itself, general story, gags and jokes are still very much the same and a great way, very nostalgic, yet a great way to introduce a new generation to the Peanuts gang. I do like very much that we also get a lot more Woodstock and Snoopy than usual with this movie. They are great!

I was hesitant to watch cause I grew up on Peanuts but I loved this movie. So sweet and funny.

My 4 year old daughter watches this movie on a regular weekly basis. It's a hit at my house.

My son (6 years old) enjoys this movie a lot. He now wants to read the Sunday comics version every week. Story is cute an the DVD is a great addition to the library.
