Well Go USA had a challenge in putting together this set for a small yet dedicated fanbase. Not only did they have to please fans of these five films in terms of picture and sound quality, design, bonus features, and extras, but they were also competing with the established Arrow Films. While there were some issues in confused distribution, otherwise I have few complaints with this set. The design is lovely and shelf space-friendly. The films will most likely never look better, especially the first Phantasm, which was remastered in 4K. Parts 3 & 4 are also remastered. The bonus disc packs a lot of material including excellent preexisting documentaries. A book and poster come nestled in the box as well. Phantasm is the rare series overseen beginning to end by it's original creator. It's my favorite horror franchise of all time and this set is a wonder to me! Unshockingly, it comes with my highest recommendation.

Great movies loved these movies since I was a kid all 5 movies in high definition. Reversible covers tons of extras. A must buy for Phantasm fans.

When I initially saw an unknown company was releasing this set I was worried, however at a decent price I upgraded and was not disappointed, all old features have been ported over as well as some new ones. Image quality is nice and the box is durable.

I was so scared of these movies as a child. When they were finally able to release a complete box set, I jumped on it. These are classic horror.

5 Phantasm movies plus a ton of extras in a great box set that also includes a poster and booklet. Very happy that Best Buy is carrying this in stores, not very happy that their security wrap damages the edges of every box.

I have been a fan of the Phantasm films since I saw the first one as a child. They are an amazing statement on how to make low budget, complex films and trust the audience will follow along. I will admit that Ravager was a bit of a stretch with Reggie getting on and Angus Scrimm at deaths door but even so there is some closure and plenty of smiles. The box set itself is very nice, giving you multiple cover choices for the Blu rays and also a nice companion booklet. If you have the great book Phantasm Exhumed then the booklet treads over some familiar territory, but is still a nice little keepsake. The movies look great in their upgrades and the films are just as much fun loosing nothing in the transfer. A definite for fans of the series as there are some amazing docs, accompanying each movie and a great bonus disc.

I love the Phantasm movies, but I've never owned them because I was holding out for a set like this. I was amazed by the quality and dedication that was shown to putting this set together. So often, franchise box sets just get thrown together from existing releases without any new special features, restorations, or attention to detail. I was half expecting that with this release, but was blown away. The films have never looked better, the special features are STACKED (both on the disks, and the collectible booklet), and the set as a whole is gorgeous. My only complaint is the packaging on the individual discs is flimsy. I had read that same complaint on other reviews, but even though that aspect is disappointing, the rest of the set is almost perfect.

The collection features all five frightening films in the series – PHANTASM: REMASTERED (1979), PHANTASM II (1988), PHANTASM III: LORD OF THE DEAD (1994), PHANTASM IV: OBLIVION (1998) and the most recent installment PHANTASM: RAVAGER (2016). In all five films of Don Coscarelli's iconic series, Mike (Michael Baldwin) faces off against a mysterious grave robber known only as the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm) and his lethal arsenal of terrible weapons.

Having been a Phantasm fan for nearly 40 years and collected tapes and DVDs throughout, you can imagine this Blu ray set of installments was a sweet find, and like viewing them for the first time. While my pick of the lot, Pt 2, has been available for some time on BRay, the others have not , so the transfers are great enhancements in both the sound and vision departments. JJ Abrams oversaw the transfer of the initial film and it's head and shoulders over anything this picture has enjoyed before, same is true for the remaining pictures. There's lots of background, adders, info, and just fun updates on each disc, along with a poster and booklet to round out the package................ what are you waiting for? Highly Recommended!

This is the collection to have for Phantasm fans. Even if you already bought Phantasm last fall (or Phantasm: Ravager), this set is a marked improvement over that disc. The films look great, are loaded with extras old and new - many from Don Coscarelli's personal archives - and it's all collected in an attractive and sturdy box. Don't like the covers to the discs? Flip them for the original poster are. Enjoy the book, and hang up your own poster. Again, two sided - choose between a larger version of the set's artwork, or the poster from Phantasm's restored theatrical run last year.

WOW! Finally the Phantasm box set has come out. If you are a fan this is a must buy. Not only do you get an awesome box and poster. But it comes with a book about the films that"s just great. And every blue ray has hours of extras. As if that wasn't enough you also get a bonus disc with hour's of more extras. You get all 5 movies. Phantasm 3 and 4 and if your a fan you know it is almost impossible to find these moves on dvd. Huge fan! And wells go did a great job with this box set. So thank you for the Phantasm box set!

Awesome to finally have a BD collection of these cult films. Stuff you might not know: This is a limited edition set, only 10,000 and only sold at Amazon and Best Buy (amazon is sold out last I looked, but will probably get returns). With the price down to $60, get it quick if you have any interest as they won't be around long. First film is a big upgrade over the solo release a few months back, with more features and higher bitrate. Plus a 100+ page book, this set is amazing!

Fans of these movies for all these years finally have the collection we have been waiting for. For so long these movies were either OOP, obtainable on VHS only or different region coded or whatever. Don't get me wrong I have all these movies available in different formats to watch when I wanted to do a Phantasm marathon, but It is great to see them all finally together in one amazing Blu-ray collection. Will always be one of my favorite horror series till the day I die.

For years I had the Region 2 Sphere box set from anchor bay, and while initially I was upset this didn't come in the same sphere like Arrow's new box set the price was right and the new special features were tempting so I bought it. GREAT BOX SET! Loaded with features, great looking remasters (part 1 looks the best) and a very nice compendium book and poster included. If you are a phan you won't want to miss this set.

HURRY now get this collectors set while you can. Sold out at other retailers. Best Buy has a great price and this set has everything. All the movies are remastered and it has an exclusive BONUS disc you cant get anywhere else. Plus lots of extras for the true diehard fans and collectors. I got my copy now as I saw prices for it going way up and BEST BUY had the item in stock now with fast shippping only took 3 days.

Great collection and boxset if you’re a fan of the series

Having only seen the original film by the time of this purchase, I was in for an adventure. The first Phantasm is a classic-- engaging and mysterious. The sequels can be a bit disjointed at times, but they endear us more to Reggie the ice cream man. When he isn't failing with the ladies, Reggie sticks up for his pals and delivers quad-barrel shotgun mayhem upon the sinister Tall Man. Pure fun!

I am a big fan of the The Phantasm movies especially the first one; however, I have not been able to find Phantasm 1 anywhere for many years. It was like it fell off the face of the earth. Or maybe it was crushed and taken to the tall man's planet. Anyway, this set is blu-ray, great video and audio and tons of extras. There is so much stuff that I have not been able to go through it all yet.

I was very happy to finally have the set released on blu ray. I've been waiting for this for quite some time. Any horror buff would be doing themselves a favor by buying this box set. The only disappointment is the box itself. This would have been SO much better if it came in a metal sphere like in the movie. The UK came out with an old set like that...too bad this didn't follow suit.
