Was better than I thought it would be, too bad that Best Buy no longer carries movies.

I like to think of this as indiana jones in a superhero costume. I think it can be funny and a good adventure.

Who would win against The Shadow and The Phantom? Box office wise says The Phantom!

This is a great and suprisingly family friendly adventure. If you like Indiana Jones and super hero movies, you'll enjoy this. Billy Zane's best after Sniper and Demon Knight. Kristy Swanson and Catherine Zeta-Jones round out the ensemble cast. Presentation is near pristine and appears to be a 1080p capture of a 70mm theater print. So you get a proper ultrawide 21 x 9 viewing. Great sound design on a 5.1 dts track that's fit for a summer blockbuster. Don't wait on a boutique remaster that Paramount may not license. Show this to anyone who might appreciate a practical effects heavy movie with great stunts, set pieces, costumes, and classic vehicles.

When I was a chronically a child I would read the Phantom in the Miami News comic pages. It brought back memories. The plot was a little uneven however Treat Williams's performance stole the show. Billy Zane wouldn't have been my choice for Kit Walker but he did a capable job. Catherine Zeta-Jones was perfect as a female Han Solo.

This movie I feel like is a 90’s guilty pleasure. I remember watching this as a kid and loving it because it perfectly captures the look and feel of Indiana Jones while combining the Batman/superhero element. I really find it to be wholly enjoyable. My only issue with this blu ray release is that there’s literally zero special features beyond the actual film.

Didnt like the movie when it first was released in the 90s but saw it again on tv and i enjoyed it more now than when i was a kid so bought it on blu ray it was cool

Great superhero film for its time, too bad they had no effects dept like they do now. Appreciate it for the era it came from and tells a true superhero story

Despite the PG rating this movie is a lot of fun! Billy Zane, Kristy Swanson and Catherine Zeta-Jones star in this old school good vs. evil adventure!

I have always loved this movie. I finally upgraded to the blu ray and I am not disappointed. The picture looks great.

Good superhero movie. An old one and completely different compared to other superhero movies. Used to see carton stories in newspapers like 20 years back when I was a kid. Good to see the movie now.
