My purchase was due to an accident on my part, since I only recorded the first of two parts during a recent televised airing. Realizing what I had done, I immediately set out to find this on blu ray. This should tell you how much I enjoyed the first part, and my motivation for ordering the set. In short, this is a new take on an old action hero, complete with updated character, costume, and techno-gadgetry not utilized by our familiar comic book Phantom. The villain and his network set themselves up as a worthy adversary, and the ending opens the door for a sequel, though (to my knowledge) none has surfaced as of yet. If it does, I will be the among the first to pick this up, since this effort to rekindle the life and heroics of the "Ghost Who Walks" is really cool. This is a movie which Phantom enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy, although hard-core fans might have preferred sticking with the old-school Phantom, as opposed to Phantom 2.0. Didn't matter to me, folks.. I really liked this movie!

I have not seen this movie and did not know of it until I seen it on sale. We love super hero movies so, at this price it worth buying.
