Let your imagination run wild and get on this Christmas Train to the North Pole – it’s a dazzling ride. And the film and story are a “fun” view, and perhaps you will receive the first gift given this Xmas season from Santa. See it! Enjoy it! And hear the ring of the Christmas Bell. This beautifully told story of Christmas is always a joy to return to – especially if you “believe.” Tom Hanks plays six characters in the film – the Hero Boy, the Father and Conductor – and its always fun to discover who the other three are.

While not my favorite Christmas movie, it's still a classic. Best Buy had a great sale for this on Black Friday and I purchased it for my son.

When we made the switch over to 3-D in our upstairs clubhouse, the one movie my son kept asking for was always The Polar Express. As soon as we had the Sound bar hooked up it was the first movie we watched after finding it on sale at Best Buy. It was incredible!! The kids didn't look kinda off like they do sometimes in the 2d versions. The elaborate music and sound effects were always delivered with incredible depth as well, but the real star is always the train. It really just blows you away in 3D. Many times it pops right out of the screen at your face or takes you on incredible twists and turns all with amazing realness. I would have to say its in our top 5 3D blu rays so far. Definitely worth investing in a Sound bar for this one!!

No better way to describe it than to say: "Just a plain good movie to enjoy with the family". We saw this in the movie theatre, and hearing the music in the workshop in surround sound was great in the theatre, so having it in a home theatre setting with surround sound is a must. So, turn-off all the lights except for a Christmas tree, and enjoy this movie. It has a lot of scenes and many different action sequences, musical numbers, and heartfelt good stuff. If you have a youngster that's right at that "I'm not so sure about Santa stage", then this is a great movie to keep the spirit alive for a year, or to talk about the transition and the 'spirit' of Christmas. Enjoy.

A great story for young kids who love santa and a great message for those that forget about what Christmas really is!

This is a great holiday movie for a good price of $10 as a steelbook. Would have been better if it comes with digital HD.

I know this movie gets a lot of complaints about the facial animations, but my family still enjoys it a lot.
