My family really enjoys this movie each year. Having it on Blu ray has been a great addition to our movie library. Tom Hanks did an excellent job playing several roles which did not distract from the story in any way. The emotional impact of the story was something that was important to the success of the film.

My grandchildren are absolutely riveted by this movie, which I think is becoming one of the classic Christmas movies. So well done and a fantastic movie for the kids (although there are some parts that might be a little scary for very young children). The soundtrack, especially with a subwoofer (or two!), is phenomenal and will keep the young one's eyes glued to the screen. Love this one.

This is our very favorite Christmas movie! I'd been meaning to buy it in blu-ray but kept forgetting... until there it was, on Black Friday, at a ridiculously LOW price! The movie, the music, the extras, like never before. This is a must have for family holiday movie viewing. Now that I have it, I would have gladly paid regular price but who doesn't love a bargain?!

Every year we struggle to find this movie to watch at Christmas time so when i saw it on sale for $8 i just bought it. Great family movie. My only complaint is that the Blu-ray doesn't co.e with a digital copy.

My wife and I watch this movie every year and it is timely each time we watch it. The audio-video quality is reference grade, so if you have a 5.1/2 system with a very good and accurate subwoofer (mine are 2 SVS PB1000) this movie will not disappoint. My only gripe is that there is no DTS-HD Master Audio option. Would love to see this movie in UHD 4K. Highly recommended.

I used to love this movie as a kid so when I watch it now it kind of has this nostalgic feeling. The animation is very unconventional and I don’t know why they decided to do it this way, but it’s a decent pick for the holiday season.

This review is more of the packaging than the actual movie (which at this point I'm assuming you've already seen). The steelbook looks great. The artwork depicted both inside and outside make this a collector's dream. Would definitely recommend picking this up if you do not already own a copy of this film. Please note this version does NOT include a digital copy code for those interested.

A great Christmas film for all ages! You can never go wrong with any film staring Tom Hanks. The story is about a magical train experience to the North Pole by a child who is not sure if he believes in Santa. Watching his adventure is sure to make a believer from children and parents alike!

We bought this movie for our grand kids to watch and we loved the movie. There were no awkward scenes or language to worry about. Tom Hanks' voice is the Polar Express conductor, therefore we had high expectations and respect for his endorsement. We bought the 3D version, but found the adult 3D glasses we had used caused our eyes to tire quickly viewing the movie.

I picked up this movie at Best Buy because the price was good and I had been holding back for a while due to mixed reviews I had read. I am so glad I did. This movie is fantastic. A little slow at first but by the time you're done, you are moved and will have a smile in your face and a tear in your eyes. Great 3D, CGI, colors. Can't wait to watch it again next holiday season (if not before).

My wife had recommend we watch this movie over Christmas Eve. Being that I have never seen this movie before, I was excited. I can't explain enough just how heartwarming and cute this movie turned out to be. Definitely a holiday movie, so save it for Christmas time. Absolutely worth including in your personal movie collection.

I looked everywhere for this and if I found it it was like 20 bucks. Not happening for a bluray that will only get watched a few times. Got it as a gift for the holidays before I took my gf and kids to a train ride with Santa to the North Pole. Lol. It was an awesome build up to a surprise for a 7 year old. He had no idea where we were going even after watching the movie.

While I love all Christmas movies, this one is especially heartwarming. Your typical Christmas story about believing comes to life with this excellent interpretation of the original book. Though the graphics could be considered creepy at times, I find this is mostly due to the fact that they look less cartoon-y and more realistic than your typical animated feature.

From the first time I read the story book, the Polar Express, in the fifth grade I was enchanted. Tom Hanks delivers with his great voice acting and the visuals in the animation are astounding. It’s a great movie to put on when you’re all alone and lonely during the holidays. Even better, enjoy the movie with your loved ones. We like to all wear pajamas and drink hot chocolate during the movie. Or buy the movie so your wife has something to put on for her students on the last day before Christmas break, that’s why we bought it. It’s the best, I love it, it’s fantastic!

This is the best movie this generation that captures the spirit of Christmas. I saw it with my daughter know in here teens when it originally came out. Had to rebuy because disc damaged over the years for my 5 yr old son. It has instilled the spirit of Christmas this past year in which we took a weekend trip to visit the actual Polar Express.

This movie teaches that you need to have faith in something, so that you can feel the true meaning of love. It taught me that when you truly believe in something you can have happiness in your life. The characters of the children were great in the movie, and Tom Hanks different characters were awsome. Also the picture and sound were great on blue-ray.

After seeing this in BR and owning it, i always wanted the 3d version but didnt want to pay $40. well BB had it on sale for $12.99 so i jumped on it, so glad i did, item was back ordered but very happy with this. The 3d is amazing and really seemed like it was the first time i saw this. look for the sales on Best Buy.com it pays to wait!

This is one if not my favorite christmas movie. The cinematography is great. This movie is great entertainment for the whole family young and old. I own this movie on all formats. The 3d version is my favorite you feel as if it jumps into your living room . Regardless what format you have it is a must for anyone's collection who has the spirit of christmas.

We make it a tradition to watch a holiday movie and by far this is the movie to see since its been out. I got it in 3D because of the graphics and sound. The story line is beautifully written and my whole family enjoys it very much. Will be seeing this movie for years to come.

This is definitely up there with all those classic holiday movies. My family loves watching it during the holidays, such a magical movie!! This is a must own. I had to get it in Blu-Ray and so glad we did.
