When you have Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston, Loretta Devine, Jennifer Lewis, & Courtney B. Vance you know it's going to be great. A wonderful movie about a married couple who have there struggles in their marriage while running a church and then a charming angel comes to help them, but in what way? This movie produced one of the best gospel soundtracks of all times. Great for the holidays as well!

I enjoyed this movie at the theatre many years ago. I wanted the dvd for my collection so I searched the online retail stores and since I have an account with BestBuy..I purchased it from the best.for an amazing discounted price.

I really love this the DVD The Preacher's Wife. It is a great family movie for young and old. The movie portrays the love, hope, faith, trust and friendship that all families should have. This is a great movie that you can watch every day during this time of pandemic.

Awesome combination, Denzel Washington as a dashing angel sent to help a preacher and Whitney Houston as the preacher's wife whom the angel is attracted to.

purchased 1947 and 1996 versions of the same movie recently - The Bishop's Wife and The Preacher's Wife - the newer one for my son, and the older version for my DH and me.

great cast, great story and entertaining classic from earlier that I saw in the theater, just glad to add to my collection

I just love hearing Whitney Houston sing. Denzel is great in his role to help others yet he knows he has to refrain from acting on his own feelings as an angel.

The Preacher's Wife is one of my favorite Christmas movies. It has a great sound track and stellar cast. If you're looking for a movie the whole family can watch . . . this is it. . .you won't be disappointed!

Made a unbelievable story line believable. The boy actor was very cute and how can you go wrong with Denzel Washington being in it.

This is a great movie with a wonderful message. The message is that even when circumstances seem to be at their worse, God will take care of us if we seek His guidance & have faith that He is in control. And that God's will is not always what we have in mind but His will is always what we need. Whitney Houston, Courtney B. Vance, & Denzel Washington lead a stellar cast in this wonderful Christmas movie. My family & I love to watch this movie all year round.

this is and has been a great family movie to watch during the holidays. the quality of the picture is good as well.
