The Criterion Collection blue ray was as vivid and engaging as it gets. But then this stunning restoration was released and it was like seeing it for the first time. THIS is why the UHD format exists.

This movie is something that I can never get bored of. It is a must watch film that I recommend to everyone. I love the case design as book.

For a tough old, retired veteran, to say this is one of my favorite movies might sound out of place, but it is true. This action / adventure / drama / comedy hits all the key markers that make all fairy tales memorable and endearing. It is a wonderful story about hope, dedication, and never giving up, no matter the personal cost or the hardship of walking that path. But more importantly, it is about true love, and how that it can help us to survive the impossible, darkest moments of our lives. It is also about how saying "As you wish" can be a far more potent expression of the depths of one's heart and soul than just a simple "I love you." It is inconceivable to dislike this film. It is something to share with the whole family and across generations.

Bought on a whim due to hearing its a classic and the unique packaging.. Was not disappointed. Film looks absolutely astounding. My 1st Criterion purchase and definitely won't be my last if this is their quality. Film itself is just fun. Charming actors and scenes.. A timeless classic.

Criterion Collection releases NEVER miss, and this is no exception. An absolute gem from the 80's, it's a weird fantasy adventure love story with pirates, giants, kind of a wizard, murder, intrigue, The Pit of Despair, and ROUS's. Looks and sounds great, with beautiful packaging.

If you relish 4K, then THE PRINCESS BRIDE excels. Already a popular and cherished masterpiece of cinema fairy tale fantasy. It belongs in everyone's DVCD film collection, and if you have a 4K television, it's among the finest of 4K remastered winders.

What can I say? It's a classic movie in 4k! The only thing I don't like, and it's with all 4k movies, is the extras are not on the same disc. If I want to watch behind the scenes I need to put in the Blu-ray and watch it in lesser quality.

This has to be one of the best 4k dolby vision transfers I have seen, and I own over 100 4K discs. Very filmic and retains all the grain as it should considering its medium. The colors are wonderful as well. Was a joy to watch.

This edition of The Princess Bride has the perfect packaging thst makes it look and feel like a book. There are even pages inside that talk about the movie. All around it’s very well done.

A fantastic classic, and this version is ripped from the source, not just an upscale. If you love this movie, you need this version.

I love this movie and was glad to find a physical copy before it was gone. The cover is very pretty and the DVD itself plays well.

This movie has been a favorite of mine since I was the age of Fred Savage was at time of this movie being filmed. The fairy tail, the romance, the fire swamp rats…

Great movie, spectacular picture, excellent sound. Criterion collection restorations are the best there are, and they did a fantastic job on this 4k UHD.

They dont make movies like this anymore. The new 4k packaging is very fitting for this release. So happy to now have it on beautiful 4k for my OLED tv

Stock is dwindling, but going to random stores I've never been to a few hours away has some sweet surprises!

Such a cool collectors edition. The steel ok is in the shape of a book! Also, it's an amazing movie if you haven't seen it.
