Excellent and moderately original, Michael Keaton is always good

I ALWAYS LIKED MAGGIE Q ESPECIALLY WHEN I WAS YOUNGER.

This movie looked so much better in the trailer. That being said, it is alright for a one time watch. Maggie Q is awesome. Just go in knowing the movie itself is nothing special.

Great movie that has the same action and intrigue theme like a Bond film with a great cast. Samuel L. Jackson is a great mentor to Maggie Q who has done action movies before in her TV series Nikita. She is perfect for this spy/assassin role. Beautiful and deadly combination. Michael Keaton plays a great adversary and villain. Very smart and cunning. I would hope this becomes a trilogy especially since it came from the same studio as John Wick and Maggie Q can hold her own as a great lead character for it.

Okay movie, a lot of violence and strange citations. It was like a female John Wick.

Very mich worth the cost of admission. Quality product at a reasonable price.

It'was not that bad of a movie had some good parts

We thought this was a very good thriller action mystery with a female lead and would definitely purchase this movie if to do over. Sam Jackson as always is a very dislikeable character, Michael Keaton can go very well in comedy, action, thriller, bad or good guy. Maggie Q is fantastic. She should be in more mainstream movies.

If you like Maggie Q in her TV series as Nikita then this latest flick is for you. Maggie Q does what she do best - playing a female assassin; so guys please watch out. There’s plenty of action and stunts in this action flick. This one’s not to be missed. With a well supported cast featuring Samuel L. Jackson, the assassin who trained Maggie and gave her a life and Michael Keaton who plays her nemesis.

Ending wasn't strong but it's still good. I enjoyed the acting and the action. Story was decent even though some parts were confusing. It's still easy to follow though. Maggie Q was good, Sam Jack was dope, and Mike Keaton was fantastic. Martin Campbell did a good job directing. I saw this at the movie theater. Purchased for $10 during black Friday weekend baaaaaby!!!!

This movie is Maggie Q’s comeback of what she was known for playing best- a female assassin. Referring to her TV series of Nikita. In this film she plays the titular character -an assassin/protege under the man who saved her from Vietnam and raised her in America to be a lethal assassin. This movie is slick, action packed and having a surprising plot twisted ending.

I have seen Maggie Q in alot of other movies, but i think this is her best. Samuel L Jackson is also my favorite, this one shows such a ' compassionate side if his acting. Even Michael Keaton was fantastic, he actually was ' too cool ' for words, and makes it hard for me to dislike this villain. So much more than just an action movie.

This is a good action film with an excellent main cast. The story and characters work well, and the action is pretty fun to watch throughout. The 4K transfer is also handled well by the studio - great video and audio as is expected from this format!

I loved this film. Michael Keaton and Samuel L. Jackson are two of my favorite actors. I'd recommend this film, and as with most films, I'd suggest renting it first. If you like what you watched, do yourself a solid and pick this up on 4K. :-)

Great sleeper B movie. Great cast on screen chemistry makes you love the characters interactions. Keaton delivers a stellar performance and Maggie delivers us another awesome action hero. Id pick this up and tell a friend. Some action stunts are a bit over the top but cast performance pulls it thru.

this movie is the same thing over and over and over, same as past movies, like anna, and atomic blonde trying to feel like john wick. they all just lose it in the middle, this one is no diffrent. the only reason i give this movie full 5 stars is because michael keaton is in this haha

Decent action movie with top actors. My family enjoyed this movie, not the best plot, but watchable . We don't have to have Oscar worthy performances to enjoy a movie. Purchased this for the digital code primarily, we like watching digital movies on tv and tablets. plus sharing with family.

What else can you say but pure cinema magic. Maggie Q, is perfection personified. Sam Jackson, well how can you make a hit movie without the man. And of course the one and only Batman, Micheal Keaton. In my next life i want to be a hitman. Just Awesome.

The Protégé is a movie of an orphan learning the business of being a killer. Sam Jackson is the teacher and Maggie Q the student. I'm big on action movies, and this one did not let me down. I think the ending of this movie leaves the door open for a sequel.
