I was extremely disappointed with the first movie last year. The filmmakers had such a great idea but threw it down the drain! This one though, I was very surprised! This installments actually has a decent plot and characters, it goes more in depth into the story behind "The Purge" and how it came to be. Very satisfyingly decent movie!

This movie is pretty solid. Way better than the 1st one as it shows a lot more going on with the purge than one family trying to protect their house. There is so much that would be going on during an event like this and this one shows a lot more of that. Lots more violence and a lot more swearing also so be aware of that.

Not as good as the first one better than the last two

This sequel passed all my expectations in every way. It was kick butt with likable characters that you actually cared about. The premise expanded within the night across a city was a really cool idea and payed off extremely well. And btw, Frank Grillo's character is the real deal leaving you wanting more. Bring on The Purge 3!!!

Honestly, if you have not seen this film yet, fix that. It is a really amazing concept that is executed well. The performances - Carmen Ejodo, Zoe Soul and Frank Grillo's in particular - were stellar. Forget about the first movie if that's what is stopping you. You'll regret not seeing the world of the Purge as it was meant to be seen.

WOW! This movie completely blows the first Purge out of the water. This is how I anticipated the first movie to be. They show The Purging on the streets and all the chaos that goes on- not to mention the plot is super thrilling-keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Hands down, best movie of the year. Highly Recommend!!

My review has little to do with the product that I purchase, but rather with the service at the store. I waited several minutes in line for a simple purchase with only me and one other person in line. I requested help several times but no one came. Overall, very poor service at the register.

This one ties really well with the first movie. I was really excited to get this DVD/Blu-ray. It's got another amazing story and several leading characters. I highly recommend this movie. My DVD/Blu-ray was in excellent shape when I purchased this on Black Friday.

my husband really enjoyed this on blue ray! We have shared this with our son and his wife,they liked the movie. I am sure it will be watched many more times at our house.. We do not go to the movie theater because of the price. we would rather buy the movie and be able to share with friends.

Thai sequel actually surprised me, I'm glad it took place outside in the city so you could actually see everything that goes on during the annual purge. The action and violence were great and you actually care about the characters surviving. I would highly recommend this one to anyone who liked the first.

I liked the first Purge movie so when this came out I really wanted to see it. After I saw it in theaters I loved it. So what do you do when you love a movie? You purchase it. A good action movie, not to bloody, lots of killing tho. Would recommend. What would you do if the Purge was real?

I can't stop watching this movie!!!! It is AMAZING!!!! Totally recommed and would also recommed The Purge first if you haven't seen it...... I saw it in theaters and knew when it came out I'd be buying it to watch over and over!!! I am SO glad I did!!! A must see action, horror packed flick!!!

I was happy for one but this expands on the premise and gets you out on the streets on Purge Night. Good action within the film. Not too bloody but just enough violence as to not be too over the top. If you liked the first I would recommend a watch.

I love this series, it’s fun and creepy. This installment is a little more fun than part 1 and has more characters and more action, and I’m not too crazy about part 3...it’s good but not as good as this one! Great script, good acting and good plot.

I like the artwork on these new 4K Purge movies. The artwork is dark and captures the vibe of the movie. Video and audio quality is very good on these. Highly recommended if you're a fan of this franchise and are a collector.

If you liked the first movie, The Purge 2 is just as good, if not better. In the first movie you see what happens if people get in to your home during the purge; in this one you see what happens if people don't make it home on purge night. Definitely an attention grabber

It you liked the first one, you'll also enjoy the second one. I think I actually liked this one better than the first one. Have to watch this film knowing your not watching for the acting. I actually have watched it a couple of time now. Good suspense and some twists.

i like this movie as it is an excellent follow up to the original and i bit more in terms of action. Finally, i like that people are fighting back in this one and not just sitting in their homes to be targets.

This version of The Purge was exactly what I thought the first one was going to be. Worth while to watch it as it does a complete 180 from the first. The characters fighting their way through the city as opposed to fighting in a locked up house.

Thought this was better than the first one. Expands on the world of the purge and offers an interesting story to keep you interested. Not the best acting, but you don’t watch these movies for the acting.
