This film is phenomenal. Others have said this is the Godfather Part II of martial arts films and I agree. It is the Apocalypse Now of Asian Action films.

Being a huge fan of "The Raid" (or, "The Raid: Redemption," if you must), I went into "The Raid 2" not knowing just what they would do with the story, and just how they would top the first one. In short, they kill off the characters remaining from the first one, then spend the remainder of the movie forcing Rama to beat up numerous gangsters while working undercover for other gangsters while his family lives without him for years. Still has some cool action, but really lacks the soul and higher ideals of the first. Hoping they'll right the ship with "The Raid 3."

the 1st was pretty good. this one is a lot better. some of the best fight scenes i have ever scene. it's a must watch for any action junky.

This is a must see but if you haven't seen part one please do so then see this one. The fight scenes are incredible. My family loves these movies.

I can honestly say, one of the best action movies I've ever seen. A ton of special features which I was very happy to see. Highly recommend this one!

It has been a long time since an action movie has wow! me and the Raid 2 does exactly that. This movie is easily the best movie I've seen since The Matrix

Great martial arts movie but not as good as the first one. Still has tons of action and complex fight scenes. Worth a look if you're into this movie genre. Plus the price was right.

I watched part 1 and thought it was great so I got part 2 on sale for $5.00. I was very surprised to find out I liked part 2 even more than part 1.

From beginning to the end straight action. The dialog in some of the scenes suck. But overall this movie will deliver all you want for action and more.

Most action film sequels are ho-hum, same-old rehash, but this one's a cut above. If you liked the first outing, you'll find this one nearly as appealing. Most impressive for an import.

Lot more story and down time than Raid, but when fights started it was awesome. Thought some of non fight scenes could have been trimmed more.

If you are into action movies, this is a must have.. fell in love with the first one and had to buy the second one once it was out

I stumbled across this movie at the theaters with my friends. It ended up becoming our most favorite action movie of 2014. Highly recommended.

Some of the best fight choreography ever. Bigger story than the first and more characters with action sequences that rival only the first.

The Raid 2 improves on its predecessor in almost every way; bigger fight scenes, a better story, and no filler. Make sure to watch it in Indonesian with English subtitles.

I can't say how much I love this movie.... The first one blew me away. I have watched it over and over. The fight scenes are epic and perfection!
