This animated film is so incredible full of color the music is beautiful and for two hours there was not a word said yet I understood the whole story completely

At first I wasn't sure I liked it because the animation is different from the other Studio Ghibli movies. It had a great story line and has a good metaphor.

I am a Studio Ghibli fan which is exclusively released here by Disney. I was interested to see how Sony would handle this release. The Red Turtle has an Studio Ghibli vibe and I enjoyed the story.

My wife and I picked up The Red Turtle on a blind buy, knowing only that it was co-produced by Studio Ghibli. It's a slow-moving film, but tells a great story and was thoroughly entertaining.
