Although the first album The Balcony was fantastic and a fresh of breath air, this is not really the case. Instead to trying to do something different they pretty much made a part 2 if anything. The first half of the album is that upbeat feel good kind of songs with a few interesting things here and there while the second half of the album sounds more serious. It also got tiring hearing the same lyric phrase over and over in particular songs. Not super crazy about this album but it is something new to listen to if your a fan.

They retain their sound to the point where you can identify the songs as Catfish and the bottlemen but the songs dont all just sound the same. Good progression as a second album.

I took a chance on this because the snippets I heard were interesting. I'm glad I got this, as it reminds me of rock from the late 80's, early 90's.

Had heard about this band but resisted buying the cd..But I am glad I got it. Sounds a little like the Strokes but not that much. Very enjoyable.

Catfish and the Bottlemen are just solid rock for modern times. Everything they have put out so far has been excellent. They can do ballads or faster tunes equally well and I can say that I love all but one song on this album.And not because its a bad song, because I don't think they know how to write a bad song. Well worth the listen

When I listen to this CD I keep going back to the song Oxygen. Very catchy and music I personally like. Good tunes

I wasn't expecting a but more in the sound, louder. But an album that grows in me with each spin.

Pretty chill album but the lyrics start to sound the same after a while.

I still like the debut album better, but a solid sophomore effort from these guys

Going off of referral from friend, bought this album at local store (yes, some of us still buy cds). Great album by a great up and coming band!

While I didn't find this album to be as good as the previous one it's still has several quality songs on it and is a good album overall. It is a mainstay in my music rotation.

Great CD. Just what I was looking for. Wish our best buy store would add my music selection.

While not as exciting as their refreshing debut The Balcony, this album is a worthy successor.
