Wanted a wallet that wouldn’t allow my credit cards to break. Was hesitant when I first received it, but after a week, I couldn’t be happier. Works great

It’s really nice. Not sure why there’s no soft cover outer edge version. I needed RFID wallet with AirTag option and added AirTag later and it’s exactly what I expected. I expect they will have to do a price drop because there’s other brands half the price for exact same thing. They are reputable company with very good product.

The Ridge wallet with money strap is a sleek and stylish way to carry your cash and cards. It's made of what seems like durable aluminum and features a built-in money clip that keeps your bills secure. The wallet is also RFID-blocking, which protects your information from being stolen as well.
I think one of the best things about the Ridge is its slim profile. Even with 12 cards in there, it doesn’t take a whole lot of room up in my front pocket. I usually use a Magsafe wallet attached to my iPhone case, but that has a limitation of 3 cards maximum. This wallet will get lots of usage during longer trips where I need to carry more cards but don’t want to carry a big wallet.
I think this wallet would be a great everyday carry for anyone who doesn’t want the bulk of a bifold or trifold wallet, but still wants to be able to carry all their cards and some cash as well. Getting cards out tends to be a little harder than a typical wallet, but it’s worth the extra effort for the compactness of the wallet.
Here are some of the pros and cons of the Ridge:
Pros:
Slim and lightweight
Holds up to 12 cards and 10 bills
RFID blocking
Stylish and durable
Cons:
Can be expensive
The money clip can be difficult to use
Overall, the Ridge wallet seems like an excellent choice for someone who wants a stylish and functional way to carry their cash and cards. It's lightweight, slim and well-built. Be prepared to spend a good amount of money on it though, but with its lifetime warranty, you may never need another wallet again.

The Ridge Wallet Aluminum with Cash Strap in Royal is a sleek and modern solution for anyone looking to streamline their everyday carry. This minimalist wallet combines style, functionality, and durability in a compact design that’s perfect for both casual and professional settings.
The aluminum construction is lightweight yet sturdy, offering excellent protection for your cards and cash. The vibrant Royal color adds a bold and unique touch, making it a standout accessory. The cash strap is a practical feature, securely holding bills or receipts without adding bulk.
One of the wallet's highlights is its RFID-blocking technology, which provides peace of mind by protecting your cards from electronic theft. The expandable design holds up to 12 cards, accommodating everything from credit cards to IDs, while maintaining a slim profile that fits comfortably in your pocket.
The Ridge Wallet’s build quality is exceptional, and the attention to detail is evident. However, the minimalist design may take some getting used to, especially for those accustomed to traditional wallets with multiple compartments. Additionally, the premium price point reflects its high-quality materials and craftsmanship but might not suit all budgets.
Overall, the Ridge Wallet Aluminum with Cash Strap in Royal is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a durable, stylish, and secure wallet. It’s a perfect blend of form and function, ideal for modern lifestyles.

Design of this wallet is truly minimalist - 2 pieces of acrylic with aluminum veneer plates strapped together by the elastic bands. Whole thing is exactly the size of a credit card so your cards just go in between the acrylic plates. Notch on the side serves as an aid to remove the cards - whole deck comes out and if your card (wallet holds up to 12) is not the top or the bottom - you'll need to either pull the whole stack out or try fanning them out in place somehow. Not very convenient especially if you are in a hurry. Putting whole deck back in is kind of ordeal as well (start with a single card to create an opening and then slide the rest in). Cash strap allows you to fold the bills two times and secure using elastic strap, you would need to pull out the whole stack when you need it.
Overall if minimalism is what you looking for (and you use Apple or Android pay everywhere, real cards are needed as a backup only) - this wallet would definitely work, however with minimalist design you loose convenience.
Ridge has a great selection of accessories - replacement elastic straps, veneer plates, screws, coin tray, bottle opener so it's easy to build something that fits you personally, however there are other compact wallet designs out there in about the same price range, look those up to make an informed purchase decision.

The Ridge Wallet is a well-designed and compact wallet. You can tell that this wallet is made out of quality materials and it feels like it is built to last. This wallet is significantly smaller than a traditional wallet and really helps to remove bulk and make your wallet as small and compact as possible. I’m impressed with how Ridge was able to fit great materials and a quality design into such a small form factor.
This wallet is significantly smaller than my previous leather wallet, which is great because it doesn’t protrude as much in my pockets. I also love that this has different accessories including a cash strap and the option to add an AirTag cash strap. I love the idea of having an AirTag strap so I don’t ever lose my wallet again. I haven’t tried that out yet, but am planning to get one.
My only complaint about this wallet is around finding the cards you need. I personally have many credit cards as I try to maximize rewards with my cards. With that being the case, it is harder to get the card I need quickly from this wallet compared to a traditional wallet. If I want to quickly glance at the cards I have without having to pull them all out, I can’t. I have to remember which card I want and then try to push that card out a little and remove it from the wallet. That, or remove all of my cards and then look for the one I need. This may be something that I will get used to and will be able to manage more easily with time, but I do miss having the ability to quickly glance at my cards. For people that have a lot of credit cards or other cards in their wallet, this is definitely something to keep in mind. Ultimately, it may be worth sacrificing ease of access for the compactness of this wallet, but I haven’t decided on that yet.
Overall, this is a really well-built wallet with some great features. It seems that this wallet is made of high-quality materials that will last a long time. If you are looking for a compact and well-made wallet, this is an excellent option! Just keep in mind that if you have a lot of cards you carry, it may be harder to get to the card you need as quickly as you can on a regular wallet.

I honestly can say this is one of the best if not the best wallet I have ever owned. For as long as I can remember, I have always felt there weren’t any wallets that fit my needs. Either they were too big, too small, or didn’t hold the cards / cash I felt necessary for my everyday life. Now, with the Ridge wallet, I can safely say I am satisfied.
The build quality is the first aspect that I notice. It is solid and has some heft, which for me is excellent. It comes with RFID shielding which is a must now a days. The wallet itself can carry up to 12 cards, which is more than enough for me and honestly, I would say more than enough for most users. It comes out of the box with a cash strap but can be converted to a clip if you want. Everything you need to do so is included in the box. The wallet also comes with a lifetime warranty, which just adds a bit of extra comfort that IF anything happens, you are covered.
Overall, I cannot express how happy I have been with the Ridge wallet. It’s easy to use, carries all the cards I need and easily fits into my back pocket. No more bulk!

I’m not a stranger to seeking out thinner wallets. Used to use a tri-fold that was like 3” thick. Then I used a “billfold” for a while, which was pretty flat, but I had to make decisions on what stayed and what went. Then I moved onto “ripstop nylon" material wallets, which was very light and sturdy, but I still wanted something smaller, and able to hold more than 4 or so cards. Grabbed a hard case “Flip Side” wallet, which I’ve happily used for over a year. I liked that the hard plastic kept me in check since its structure only holds an exact amount of cards, not a single more, or it wouldn’t shut. The design is great since you know how thick it will always be as it’s a hard case that snaps shut. This fixed size started out as exciting, but began to feel too thick in my front pocket. On top of that, there were a few cards I had to leave at home since they all wouldn’t fit into the rigid body of the wallet.
I decided to try the Gunmetal Aluminum Ridge model and it not only looks great, the simple design forces you to decide what you really need to carry, nothing more. I was able to fit all my cards into it with no issues, something I couldn’t do with the hard-shell limited card Flip Side design that I’m coming from. The Ridge wallet is simple; maximize storage space so the wallet itself is no larger than ~15 stacked credit cards. I’m sure their corporate tagline reads differently, but this is what this product means to me. And that’s the simplicity they intend. I’ve included a few photos of my current wallet, which I don’t dislike, but it’s still just too thick. The Ridge is just two pieces of metal sandwiched together with tiny screws, and held by an elastic band. Yep, that’s it, it just holds your cards one on top of the other. Sure you could just get a rubber band, stack your cards, and wrap the band over them…boom, instant minimalist wallet. But you won’t, so this is the next best alternative. So far, I love it. As long as you place your most used cards at the top and bottom of the stack, it’s really simple to get the hang of it. I wanted to finally use my Air Tag that I’ve had in a drawer for a while (I dislike huge keychains), so I bought the official Ridge Air Tag money clip (not included with this listing). I highly recommend it if you plan to use an Air Tag and want to carry some cash in a compact and sturdy package.
Sometimes the best designs are the most simple, and The Ridge Wallet certainly is that. I don’t miss my thick leather wallets, which probably caused all sorts of back/spine issues over the years. It took me a bit to get used to carrying in my front pocket, but now that it's a habit, I’ll never use a back pocket wallet again. I'm happy with it and will recommended The Ridge Wallet to everyone.

Great, extraordinarily well built compact wallet. Keeps just enough cards in it for what you need, and forces you to leave what you don’t at home. The money clip keeps cash close at hand, and the strong grip keeps it in place. And it’s customizable; a screwdriver is included with extra screws for swapping accessories. But it is *very* expensive for what it is. However, if you see it on sale, it’s a no-brainer.
