After hearing the hubbub around this series for probably nearly a year I picked up Part 1 of Season 1 back in June. After clearing other stuff in the queue I finally started working towards catching up with this series last week and WOW! I was blown away at the quality of the art and how well done the story is. I really enjoyed the English Dub but I will go back and watch it sub'd later. The characters and twists are interesting and I've got part 2 now on order here.

Rising of the Shield Hero is an amazing story. The main character is at a disadvantage from the start and instead of giving up, he finds ways to become stronger and adapt to his new situation. He makes many friends along the way who help him in his time of need. The story has its ups and downs, and you feel every moment of it. You won’t want to stop watching this! Action packed and lots of fun!

Excellent anime and finally have the episodes together in part 1, got part two too. Really good other world anime, with interesting views, human characteristics and heavy plot. These characters make you feel related to them and think about the circumstances.

I love this show! Great story, great characters, great setting. The product itself is a great buy, as it comes with the Blu ray and DVD. I wish the digital was with a better outlet, like Movies Anywhere or the Google Playstore, but other than that its fantastic. Can't wait for season 2!

One of the best series to be put on dvd for a while. The shield hero is about an underdog getting his comeback in a big way. I concider this a must watch for any anime fan. Great action sequences and great plot mix well.

One of the best anime series'. I hope there are many more seasons. They put together a real good story line and I could really get into how the characters interacted with each other.

The second half really brings it in the get to know the characters and how obviouse some people can be. Even gamers can do the wrong thing and think they are right. Cant wait for season 2

Worth the watch. I usually don't watch Isekai anime, but I think this one sticks out as one of the better ones. The first episode sets everything up really good. Worth trying.

Started watching episode 1 and could not help but beng the rest. This is like a more serious Konosuba except the main character has trust issues and for good reasons.

Awesome, must have anime. Hate that they gouge you buy not doing whole season in one package. But this one so good it don't feel anything but heck yes!

Good anime, storyline, a good guy that improve's himself dispite everyone hating him for something he didn't do. Can't wait for other half of story.

This anime comes together with action, comedy and heart that made me keep watching till the end of the season and I can't wait for season 2
