Amazing Movie

Bette Midler does an incredible act in this movie. Highly recommended... Especially for those who love true life stories of the famous.

Movie Sucks!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hello I was Very Disapointed when I found out that it really had nothing to do with Janis Joplin or her Music!!! I mean my friends all bragged about how good this movie was!! And I was just shocked to see that it really wasn't about janis!! Or her great music!! They really should come out with a really nice movie called The Life & Story of Janis Joplin!! And have them feature all of her Music & demo's!! Than add a nice sound track to it.. I mean with today's tech's. They could use some of her home video's & interviews!! And just have a really good actress lip sing to Janis Joplin's Songs!! Wouldn't be the first time someone was pretending to sing to someone eles's songs!! I would Not tell anyone that this movie was or is based on Janis Joplin's Life!! Because that's a lie!! And No I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone either.. Thank You.. WhiteMagic4169!!!
