    Ive been on the classic samurai movie train for only a little while but so far this collection of movies is absolutely awesome. People say Seven Samurai is the best; I disagree in loo of these movies. These movies keep a slow pace but are able to keep the attention of people watching chambara for the action. I definetly did not get bored waiting for something to happen. This collection is worth the buy and the time put in to enjoy this wonderful chambara trilogy. Each movie hinges on the last to make a memorable series. Gor for it!

    classic film, amazing transfer, great features, with any criterion purchase you will not feel cheated. you get a lot of information surrounding the background of the story and production that make the viewing experience more richer.
