Happy to add this to my Christmas movie collection

This movie is and always will be a Christmas classic.

One of the few really good Christmas movies out there that can be renewed generation after generation for its original story and humor! The sequel and the 3rd film in the series not so much. 2nd film is almost as good, and it stars all the original cast-which keeps it up there in "likes" field. Story slightly lacks when all the other fairy tale characters are added to the mix. They're light-hearted and funny though. The 3rd film over does-it with the fairy tale characters. It's not about Christmas or even Santa Clause so much as it is about them. While Jack Frost may be about Winter-he's not about Christmas at heart. (Hence why he became a good character for this story probably to take over "Christmas"/aka Santa Clause's Job.) The only thing I like about the 3rd movie is that I'm a Martin Short fan. He has good comedy-and good vocal ability to add to his comedic nature.

We like to watch it every year. Tim Allen is hilarious. Judge Reinhold is a great foil.

it is a good movie to watch at Christmas better than Christmas vacation

Classic Christmas movie. I grew up with this and now show my kids this movie. As an adult you get all these little things you may not have as a kid and I appreciate Tim Allen more for that haha. But this is a good buy, especially if you get it on sale.

I had this movie on vhs and was happy to see that I could upgrade to BlueRay.

Can’t stop watching over and over again with my self and my mother

Not much can be added here, the movie came without any scratches or thumb prints from the factory. Played flawlessly on my old Sony BDP s480. Ofcourse the movie shows its age on an a 75" 4K TV, some of the special effects look silly but hey its a good family movie, kids loved it, can't complain about that.

Movie has a fantastic story line. I particularly like the way the movie jumps back and forth from the problems of the normal world to the problems of Santa's world seamlessly. Allen is spot on as SC and his relationship with his son is touching and believable. The ending is perfect and wraps up the movie like a Christmas ribbon.

It's a great movie with a boy and his father who knocks Santa of the roof and had to become Santa himself, Tim Allen's ex wife and boyfriend don't believe he's Santa but at the end judge Reinhold gets his weeny whistle and the wife get her mystery date game. All is a good night with Santa in your living room, but the night gets heated when ms clause shows up in a nighty. :)

We had owned The Santa Clause and have enjoyed it in the past. However, it was a VHS and when we went to watch it in 2017, the VHS player had given up the ghost. So we quickly bought this one to round out our Christmas videos. A great, fun video. In my estimation, it's the best of the 3 Santa Clause's.

The Santa Clause is one of my favorite Christmas movies! Tim Allen is at the height of his career during the filming of this movie after coming off having the #1 television comedy (Home Improvement)! He makes you believe that there is a Santa Claus!

Buy this movie. stop reading just buy it. If you are still reading then ok fine this is one of the top 5 best christmas movies of all time! I bought this fresh copy to show my 5 year old for the first time. Of course she loved it!! Merry Christmas

Fun family movie for the holidays. A lot of heart with a timeless message for Christmas time. Funny and fun too to see a "normal man" grappling with both the true spirit of Christmas and the "weight" of becoming Santa Claus.

This is one of the best Christmas movies ever made. It's become a classic for me and Tim Allen really encompassed the struggle of a man becoming Santa Claus. Even a Tool Time reference in it as well.

Every year I watch this movie I quote it more and more. It has provided my family with years of Christmas laughter. It's hard to believe it's been around for 25 years! You will enjoy it.

I love this Christmas movie especially when I was young and I would watch it on Disney . When the Thanksgiving and Christmas season comes around .
