Go with the Flynn film not this.

This one, for example, has some incredible set pieces and they build actual ships for the production. I also like the old Errol Flynn version of this movie. This is based on a book which I haven't read, and supposedly follows it much better than the Flynn film. That's cool, but the Flynn movie is still much better. This story is about betrayal by a close family member, which would be cool if the story was better. The female lead character is horrible. And the movie overall wasn't interesting. No extras didn't help, but seeing the ships and the sets was fun.
