The Secret is essentially that we control what happens in our lives by our attitudes and our actions. It attempts to teach you to eliminate negative thoughts and improve your life through positive thinking and when you think positively you attract those things you want to achieve. While the thought is good and can definitely help to improve your attitude, which could certainly improve your life. Nevertheless the logic is a little flawed and it makes a lot of promises. The "experts" in the video make claims such as waking up with a bad attitude will cause more and more things to go wrong. If you wake up with a positive attitude good things will happen throughout your day. I wake up in a bad mood a lot and it doesn't guarantee my day will be all bad. Also if everyone followed this video and received what the video promises there would be many more millionaires out there. If this video changes your life and helps you fulfill all of your dreams, congratulations. But if not, hopefully it will at least improve your outlook on life.

The premise or concept is that there is a universal natural/spiritual law regarding ability to drive outcomes based on what is desired. This LAW OF POSITIVE ATTRACTION is presented from previous human scholars' experiences and statements, and, includes statements and interpretations from several within this movie, the Secret. Caution must be made when identifying HOW this law of attraction may apply. I disagree with those that claim that a parking spot will be available for you IF you believe positively that will be occuring for you. That reminds me of a person that has proven for himself that there is no power of prayer - because he was praying for ice cream and it didn't arrive, but claims that he really wanted it. Let's appreciate the positive, and learn to meditate to improve ourselves, be both bold and humble, realizing that we must always continue to learn and grow. Ditch the ego, continue to learn and grow. My caution is that some will mis-represent this law of positive attraction as something "to be attained". Any guidance we obtain has a source that is far more intelligent and caring than we can ever comprehend.

If you feel like the world is closing in, no one helps you, you feel like you are living in a roller coaster, this is the DVD for you. I've always asked myself why would certain things happen, sometimes good sometimes bad, well this self help video gives you the answer. My everyday life is running a lot smoother now. This is not a get rich quick DVD, does not even talk about how to make money.

Throughout the ages famous and successful statesmen, scientists, philanthropists, and other people of renowned importance have relied upon one doctrine. This movie ties them all together and teaches you this all-important ' secret'. Truly inspiring.
