i watched this with the kids and we all enjoyed it.

My 3 year old loves it. She keeps asking for pets.

The pets movie was cute for children and adults. There was bad guys like all movies that the pets had to deal with. I think it showed good points of what happens when you break the rules and bad things happen. As in all movies it's a teaching moment to talk to your kids about some of the experiences the pets went threw. Respect of others, getting along and following the rules are just a few topics to go over. I would say it's cute and funny and would recommend watching together to discuss it. Enjoy , grab some snacks sit back have fun.

purchased this movie to watch with my students at the end of the school year when teachers pack up their rooms, and students have finished all their testing and taken supplies home. They definitely enjoyed the movie! It was funny, cute, and one of the characters reminded me a lot of my own dog. Love that Amazon Instant allows me to play movies from my computer to my smartboard without worrying about losing DVDs and VHS tapes, and I don't have to worry about accidentally packing them while I'm cleaning up for the summer.

I read about this movie and it appeared to be an acceptable choice for young children. I purchased this DVD so my grandkids (ages 6 & 7) could have a new movie to watch on days it is too cold to go outdoors, or when they are looking for something else to do after building with their Legos, etc. They enjoyed the movie and have watched a couple of times already. I have to admit that I was somewhat entertained too while watching it with them. I would recommend this particular movie to anyone with young grandchildren.

My wife and 2 children really enjoyed this movie. Picture quality was very good with colors being bright with nice clear picture. Audio for this Blu-Ray was excellent. Voices were crisp, clear, and easily defined. Owners of a home theater will appreciate the good use of surround sound with this. Watching it in 3D was very good with lots of depth and some good pop out effects as well. Definitely a great Blu-Ray release and enjoyable by parents and children alike.

My daughters liked The Secret Life of Pets movie a lot. I thought it was ok, but I felt the best scenes/jokes from the movie were in the commercials leading up to the release. However, when Best Buy offered this 4K, Bluray copy for $10, I purchased it for my girls. I don't own a 4K TV or Bluray player yet. The prices for them will have to go down considerably before I would purchase one. My family is good with the bluray and digital copies that were included.

This is a animated movie that tells the story about what our pets might be thinking and doing in a typical day. Even an adult can find this movie enjoyable as you see the possibilities of how much our pets interact with other animals while they are left alone when we leave the house. I sometimes wonder if this really happens when I leave and come home to a pet that seems to be too tired to go out for a walk. Who knows what lurks in the mind of our pets.

This is a great film that both kids and adults will enjoy over and over again. The wide variety of animals with each having very unique mannerisms makes the movie click - there's something for everybody to enjoy - hats off to the production team putting together this film. As to the 4K blu-ray version, I've always though 4K and animated films were made for each other, the colors pop off the screen.

My kids went to the theaters to this. They haven't stopped talking about the movie since seeing it, always referencing specific parts in their every day life. I knew I had to get it when it came out on 12/06, & we watched it that night. All 3 stayed right with the movie & loved it. As owners of a dog & cat I think they like the imaginative aspect of what our pets might be thinking. as in the movie. Great movie. I even enjoyed it.

Illumination is giving Disney a run for their money. Great concept for a movie with even better execution. From beginning to end kids and adults will be hooked. I rank it up there with some of the all time animated classics.

The film is humorous in that it depicts our pets in a way similar to Pixar's Toy Story films. It tells us what they'd do when we're not at the house. The pets always reminded me of certain pets of ours: Buddy reminded me of my dachshund, Duke reminded me of my sister's Shih Tzu, and the Chihuahua reminded me of my Chihuahua. It does a good job in showing us how our pets have unique minds than expected, however, I feel that some plot points like how Snowball finally gets adopted and Duke's owner no longer living are not paid attention to a lot. Nonetheless, this is a good movie to enjoy together as a family.

I took all of five of my Grandkids to see this movie and they loved it. There are a couple of intense chase scenes that may have younger children on the edge of their seats--but, there are many more funny scenes that kept them laughing. The scene that took place in a hotdog factory caused me to reminisce about the movie Grease, and even put a smile on my face. Don't forget to watch the three short bonus movies.

This film was absolutely hilarious and so cute. I absolutely am a fan and enjoyed it much. The artwork is brilliant and beautiful on Blu Ray. The whole family loved it and it was dog approved by my dogs. A must have in your movie collection especially for any animal lover. The writers wrote a beautiful masterpiece for sure.

My first reaction to this movie in the theater was meh (not great, not terrible), but having re-watched this, I can say that it's a pretty entertaining story with some great vocal talents. As a fan of over-the-top physical comedy, this satisfies in that department. It also has heart, albeit a predictable heart, but a heart nonetheless. Give it a watch and remember it's made to make you laugh.

Great portrait of our beloved companions and what a fantasy life they lead when we go off to work or just out. Adventure and drama wrapped in animation that takes your breath away MAX, the main character gets in trouble and needs to be rescued by someone girly, gutsy and and fiercely feisty - that is GIdget. You will laugh out load at the familiar and be intrigued by what could be happening.

This movie was unexpectedly hilarious. While being perfectly appropriate for younger kids, there is certainly a lot here for adults to enjoy as well. If you're an animal lover you will appreciate the subtleties of the animal movement/personalities/etc., especially the cats. Blu-ray picture quality is fantastic and the included UV copy is great. The bonus stuff dog is pretty useless but cute.

My wife and I saw this in the movies and loved the movie but it is soooo much better in 3D. We have already watched it 4 times and we do a showing of the movie whenever people come over, especially if its some of my wife's co-workers, since she is a dog groomer. Our only complaint about this movie is that they never released a Leonard the poo toy of any kind and Leonard is the coolest one of all.

Picked this up as a joke gift stocking stuffer for my dog. Thought it would be funny to give my dog a movie about pets. My girlfriend and I ended up watching it the other night and it's actually pretty good and glad I picked it up. If you want something for the kids to watch yet will be into it yourself definitely pick it up. I don't know if my dog liked it though, she slept the whole time.

This combo came with a promotional free plush toy of Max the dog (the orange one). It was only for the 1st week of release for Rewards Members. Quality is great and I love that it came with both blu ray and 4k disk. It DOES NOT come with DVD so I guess my kids wont be watching it on car trips on the portable headrest units I purchased from Best Buy, but I knew that when I purchased it...
